Now that we are approaching the eighth week of the season, it is time for the concept of 'differentials' to warrant a whole article rather than just the sub-section it has previously. Fplbet welcomes Guest contributor, David Munday, of the Plymouth Herald has his say on what players you should be considering to stand a chance of climbing back up the ranks.
By this point there will be Fantasy Premier League bosses - both experienced and newcomers alike - who find themselves lower than they'd like in the overall rankings and chasing their mini-league rivals too.
That's why our attention turns to players who are currently owned by 10% or less. That way, if they do well you are much more likely to make ground on other managers.
Up to this point I had heavily encouraged FPL bosses to try to make transfers in line with the masses but that's only to make sure you didn't fall too far behind the pack in the early weeks.
Now that we're two months into the season it's time to go on the offensive and use the game's underlying data to pick us out some differential options.
Stephen Ward (£4.6m)

Burnley's resolute defenders are looking like must-have assets over the next few weeks as they face favourable fixtures against low-scoring sides.
Owned by just 8% of FPL bosses is the Clarets' prized defensive asset Stephen Ward who I think should be your next signing.
The Republic of Ireland international has been effective at both ends of the pitch so far in 2017/18 with a goal and an assist to his name having participated in four clean sheets.
Consider also the fact that he is attempting at least one assist per game. A total of seven bonus points in seven gameweeks is the icing on the cake.
With the next five fixtures scoring lower on the Fixture Difficulty Ranking (FDR) than his previous five, you'd expect his underlying stats to continue improving.
On top of his Burnley figures, he provided both assists for Daryl Murphy's goals as Republic of Ireland beat Moldova in their penultimate World Cup qualifier last week.
With two clean sheets on international duty too, this man is in incredible form right now and looks poised to continue that with West Ham, Newcastle and Swansea all set to visit Turf Moor in the next five weeks.
A GW11 visit to Southampton is also appealing given the Saints profligacy up front this season.
Cesc Fabregas (£6.9m)

Cesc Fabregas may well have been involved in 20 goals for Chelsea last season (five goals, 15 assists), but his slow start to the 2017/18 campaign means he has already dropped from his original price and is owned by just 5.2% of FPL bosses.
His biggest problem again this season has been game-time. The signing of Tiémoué Bakayoko has put further pressure on his position at Stamford Bridge but he looks set for a decent run in the side over the next few weeks.
And, of course, he was sent off in Chelsea's Premier League opener at home to Burnley and therefore missed the GW2 win at Tottenham Hotspur.
The recent muscle injury to N'Golo Kanté has solidified Fabregas' place in the team for a very favourable run of fixtures, though.
We know he still has the ability to be involved in Chelsea's output after he scored in the 2-0 win over Everton in GW3 so a prolonged spell in the side could very well see him return to last season's form.
Do remember that this is the week where Chelsea coverage is looking fairly important given that it is their turn to visit the woefully out-of-form, winless and goalless Crystal Palace.
A lot of FPL bosses are looking to Eden Hazard who, amazingly, still only has ownership of 3.5%, but Fabregas will save you a lot more money than his Belgian colleague for this fixture.
Marcus Rashford (£7.6m)

Marcus Rashford has the potential to be a fantastic differential for you even while Manchester United's injury crisis and fixture run both toughen up.
The 19-year-old has six goals for club and country so far this season, has registered three assists in the league, and two more in cup competitions too.
Romelu Lukaku is obviously taking all the plaudits for United's success in 2017/18 but Rashford is proving to be an integral part of the Red Devils' set up this year.
He became a regular in the side even before recent injuries to Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial all but set his starting place in stone.
With Lukaku still yet to be assessed by club doctors after an ankle injury plagued his international break, Rashford could even line up as the centre-forward against Liverpool at Anfield in GW8.
Considering he has averaged 2.71 shots on goal from wide positions in the first seven games, a spell in a more central area could see his goal chances increase considerably.
But even if Lukaku comes through his injury, Rashford has operated successfully out wide and proved very creative too averaging 1.29 attempted assists per game.
All this for someone worth £7.6m and owned by just 8.8% of managers. Sounds like he's worth a risk if you ask me!
Good Luck,
David.
