Differential Tips Gameweek 7 Fantasy Premier League Tips

Share post on:
Welcome back to another Fantasy Premier League Tips article. Gameweek 6 had it's ups and downs for our differential tips. Pappis Cisse ended up with an embarrassing one point, whilst Jeremain Lens went one better with two. Danny Drinkwater picked up an assist but was also booked in the process resulting in four points and Victor Moses ended up with six points after scoring in West Hams win over Manchester City. We've bought together a list of differential players for you to consider for this weeks fixtures please enjoy.
Odion Ighalo 5.1m (3.9% Ownership) When Watford initially got promoted many believed fellow striker Troy Deeney would be the man to grab the goals, but so far this season Deeney has taken the back seat whilst Ighalo has grabbed the headlines. The Nigerian international currently has 34 points on FPL, scoring 13 and nine in the two most recent game weeks. Interestingly enough Ighalo is has the most goals in 2015 from players in both the Premier League and the Football League with 20. This weekend the Hornets come up against Crystal Palace. Quique Sanchez Flores will be hoping to extend his sides winning streak to three games in which Ighalo will play a key role. Christian Eriksen 8.3m (3.4% Ownership) Last season the Danish international picked up 162 points in the form of 10 goals and four assists. He is yet to get a consistent run of games this season and missed a trio of fixtures due to injury, but he returned this weekend against Crystal Palace and despite only playing 25 minutes he managed to pick up an assist for what proved to be the winner. The lack of goals of Spurs striker Harry Kane is starting to become a worry for both FPL players and Tottenham fans but their latest signing Heung-Min Son seems to be finding the back of the net. The form of the striker and Kane being “due” a goal (if there is such a thing) can only lead to Eriksen either picking up an assist or scoring himself as we all know how good his freekicks can be. Xherdan Shaqiri 7.0m (3.0% Ownership) It still seems to baffle people that former Champions League winner Shaqiri is now playing for Stoke City but it's about time people moved on from that and accept the fact he wants to prove himself in the English game. Besides his debut seven points against Norwich he has only scored the dreaded two points in his following three games. This weekend he will come up against Bournemouth at home, Mark Hughes' side are currently without a win and we doubt Hughes' could have handpicked a better fixture to secure their first. We all know the quality the winger has and it's about time he showed us what all the fuss was about. Kevin de Bruyne 10.0m (3.1% Ownership) The former Wolfsburg man really has hit the ground running in the blue of Manchester City. In the Premier League he has one goal in 155 minutes whilst in the League Cup win over Sunderland he picked up both a goal and an assist. It's no secret that the Belgian is a fantastic provider for his team mates and with he firepower Manchester City have in their side we are expecting to see his assist numbers rise. His price tag currently leaves a lot to be desired, if you're willing to spend the 10.0m price tag then you could be reaping the rewards very soon. Asmir Begovic 5.0m (1.9% Ownership) When the signing of Begovic was announced many believed he would be nothing more than a bench player for Jose Mourinho's side. Injuries have hit Thibaut Courtois leaving the Bosnian as the number 1 choice for the time being. He has been impressive in each of his appearances for the club making a number of eye catching saves. Chelsea seem to have finally sorted their defensive issues out and this weekend they face struggling Newcastle United. Another clean sheet for Mr Begovic perhaps?
