Welcome back to another Fantasy Premier League Captain Tips for Gameweek 24 article. This week jamieFPL returns to highlight the best low, medium and high-risk candidates for your captain's armband.
The two most popular players on last week's captaincy poll were Sergio Aguero (41%) and Romelu Lukaku (35%) which means there's almost an equal split of smug and glum readers this week. Our two low risk options Aguero (24ts) and Kane (10pts) both brought back good point hauls, whilst our high risk tip Benik Afobe claimed 16pts with his goal against Sunderland.
Gameweek 24 has a number of good candidates for the armband. Whilst we recommend you approach our high-risk candidates with caution on FPL, we believe they could be worth their weight in gold in daily fantasy football contests such as FantasyBet.

Sergio Agüero Vs. SUN (A)
Agüero is back and firing on all cylinders for Manchester City with four goals and an assist in his last three Premier League matches. This Tuesday he travels to the Stadium of Light to face a Sunderland side who have conceded over two goals per game in their last three. The Argentine will be a popular choice for the captain's armband in Gameweek 24, and rightly so. The two teams have shared 28 goals (4.7 per game) over their last six matches and there will no doubt be more on offer here.Harry Kane Vs. NOR (A)
Kane has been quietly increasing his points tally in Agüero's shadow over the last few weeks, clocking up two goals and an assist for Spurs. Opposition Norwich have conceded 11 goals in their last three Premier League matches, including their five last week against Liverpool, which averages them out at just under four goals conceded per game. Kane scored a brace in the reverse fixture earlier this season, and with his attacking support (Alli, Eriksen & Chadli) all showing good form, we wouldn't be surprised to see the same again.Medium Risk
Enner Valencia Vs. AVL (H)
Only an assist away from being in the same form as Agüero in recent weeks, the Ecuadorian striker is going through a purple patch but failing to register on many fantasy radars. Valencia has now recorded as many goals in his last three Premier League appearances (4) as he had in his previous 39 in the competition. This Tuesday West Ham host bottom of the table Aston Villa, and with Dimitri Payet pulling the strings behind him, we can see Valencia adding to his tally.Romelu Lukaku Vs. NEW (H)
Judgement day has arrived for Romelu Lukaku after three back-to-back Premier League matches without a goal or assist. This Wednesday the Premier League's second highest goalscorer (15) hosts Newcastle who have the leagues third leakiest defence - having already conceded 41 goals this season. Lukaku also has a history of performing in this fixture, having scored five goals and assisted four more in seven Premier League appearances against Newcastle.High Risk
Jamie Vardy Vs. LIV (H)
Vardy's recent decline in form has seen his ownership decrease rapidly and within daily fantasy football he's now cast as a differential option each week. It's hard to forget the form that saw Vardy break Van Nistelrooy's goalscoring record earlier in the year, and now he's on penalty duties following Mahrez's successive misses, his goalscoring potential is even higher. Opposition Liverpool have conceded eight goals in their last three matches, including four last week to Norwich. A draw or win would keep the Foxes top and Vardy will be called upon to make that happen.Benik Afobe Vs. CRY (A)
Since arriving at Bournemouth as part of a £10 million transfer from Wolves at the beginning of January, Afobe has quickly become a fan favourite. The striker has filled the void left by Callum Wilson and scored two goals in his last two Premier League matches against Norwich and Sunderland.
