Power Rankings - Gameweek 16 - Fantasy Premier League Tips. The Power Rankings have been designed to help fantasy football managers visualise the form of players in each position. Using these rankings it's easy to monitor which players are gaining and losing form. The rankings are calculated using data from the last FOUR gameweeks. Players are ranked in order of form (total points) and then compared to the previous gameweek's table to show their change in rank (rank diff) and form (form diff).

Goalkeeper Power Rankings - Gameweek 16

Gameweek 16 Power Rankings - GK Fraser Forster (£5.0) climbs up four places to join Lee Grant (£4.2) in first place of the goalkeeper form rankings. Forster now has three clean sheets from his last four and a great set of upcoming fixtures. David De Gea (£5.4) returns to the top ten after picking up a clean sheet against a strong Tottenham side. The Manchester United keeper rose 7 places this week with a score of 8 points. Meanwhile, Jordan Pickford (£4.2), Loris Karius (£5.0) and Victor Valdes (£4.5) continue to dip in form. Are we now starting to see the rise of premium goalkeepers?

Defender Power Rankings - Gameweek 16

Gameweek 16 Power Rankings - DEF Nathan Ake (£4.3), Virgil Van Dijk (£5.6) and Chris Brunt (£4.9) replace Marcos Alonso (£5.3) at the top of the table following Gameweek 15. This is largely due to Alonso having his GW11 score of 13 replaced with his GW15 score of 6. Of the top three defenders, Van Dijk is the only one that we recommended. The Saints defender has a favourable upcoming fixture list and, unlike his defensive teammates, is seemingly safe from rotation. Chelsea only conceded a goal per game from their ‘tough couple of matches' against Man City and Tottenham. Service has since resumed following their clean sheet against West Brom in Gameweek 15. Transferring in some Chelsea defensive coverage for the upcoming weeks is essential. Marcos Alonso (£6.3) may require freeing up some funds, but his potential for points at both ends of the pitch justifies his lucrative price tag.

Midfielder Power Rankings - Gameweek 16

Gameweek 16 Power Rankings - MID There's no surprise that Alexis Sanchez (£11.7) knocked Matt Phillips (£5.4) from his top spot ahead of Gameweek 16. The Arsenal midfielder has managed 5 goals and 2 assists in his last four matches. Wilfried Zaha (£5.6) has now managed a goal or assist in six of his last seven matches, and following his 16 point haul, will be a popular transfer mid-week. However, his upcoming fixtures do leave a lot to be desired. Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.5) and Christian Eriksen (£8.3) have both form and fixtures on their side. Sigurdsson is our pick of the two due to his consistency and involvement within Swansea's set pieces. Elsewhere, Sadio Mane (£9.3) has proven himself to be the go-to Liverpool midfielder but isn't worth transferring in as AFCON approaches. Dimitri Payet (£9.1) looks a great punt with upcoming fixtures against Burnley (H) and Hull (H).

Forward Power Rankings - Gameweek 16

Gameweek 16 Power Rankings - FWD Another gameweek, another goal for Diego Costa (£10.9). If you don't own the Chelsea striker by now you're suffering from last season's Vardy-syndrome. Transfer him in now and reap the benefits of his consistency. Harry Kane (£11.2) holds his place at the top of the table despite failing to score against Manchester United in GW15. His form paired with upcoming fixtures against Hull (H) & Burnley (H) suggest great point potential. He's also an excellent captain option for Gameweek 16. He's back! Jamie Vardy (£9.6) returned to the frame last weekend with a hat-trick against Manchester City. He has a nice run of five fixtures and his price will keep his ownership low until he shows consistent form. He could be a good differential for those looking for a gamble. Fernando Llorente (£6.2) and Stefano Okaka (£5.3) are worth keeping an eye on. The pair could become integral to their team's attack if they nail down starting spots, and are both available for very low transfer fees.
