jamieFPL goes over the main talking points from Gameweek 13 in the Premier League this Saturday and analyses the winning daily fantasy football teams from the biggest contests available in the U.K.

Jamie Vardy matches Ruud van Nistelrooy's record and becomes the first player to score in 10 consecutive Premier League games in the same season. Vardy converted his tenth consecutive league goal against Newcastle on Saturday and could break the record against Manchester United next weekend. Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley both scored braces in Everton's 4-0 victory over bottom of the league Aston Villa. England youngster Barkley opened the scoring after Deulofeu's shot was deflected into his path. Romelu Lukaku then doubled the Toffees' lead by heading home Coleman's cross. Barkley then slotted home his second following up Kone's saved effort, before turning provider for Lukaku's second. Liverpool handed Manchester City their worst-ever Premier League defeat at the Etihad Stadium. City found themselves three down in the opening 32 minutes with goals from Coutinho and Firmino, after Mangala's own goal opened the scoring. Klopp now has more away wins versus ‘top four' clubs in six weeks than Brendan Rodgers had in three years. Elsewhere, Manchester United and Chelsea earned narrow victories against Premier League new-boys Watford and Norwich. Arsenal failed to comeback from their 2-1 halftime score at the Hawthorns, with Cazorla missing a late penalty. Meanwhile, Stoke recorded their third consecutive clean sheet in their 1-0 away win over Southampton.

Mondogoal - £10,000 FPL Saturday Late Start

A five team train by daily fantasy football manager mowse73 claimed the top five spots in Mondogoal's 10k GPP. Mowse73's team cashed in £3,760 which comes as one of the biggest wins in the 10k GPP so far. Let's take a look at Mowse73's team: Mowse73 MondogoalMowse73 Mondogoal The first thing that stands out is that Mowse73 opted for the maximum amount (four) of Chelsea and Everton players, placing two in defence and two in attack. With three slots left he opted for in-form Leicester players Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez, and took a punt on Swansea midfielder Andre Ayew who impressed earlier in the season and was facing Bournemouth at home. All four of Mowse73's defenders delivered clean sheets with Seamus Coleman also assisting Lukaku for the second goal of the game. An average of roughly 10.00pts from each defensive player provided solid footings for his attacking players for flourish. Barkley (27.88pts) and Lukaku (21.99pts) both picked up huge point hauls with the pair both scoring two goals and Barkley an additional assist. Goals from Costa, Vardy and Ayew helped increase Mowse73's overall score into the hundreds. Mahrez and Willian were the only two attackers in the side to not score, though their points still packed a punch with the former picking up an assist and the latter recording two shots on target and winning three fouls. A good all round display from Mowse73 that displays the potential of stacking players - in both defence and attack - from teams you think will dominate in their respective fixtures.

FantasyBet - £1,000 FPL Saturday Late Start

A single entry from daily fantasy football manager Bouncebackability found it's way to the top spot of FantasyBet's £1,000 Saturday slate. Bouncebackability's team won by 5 clear points and cashed in £240 for it's first place finish. Let's take a look at Bouncebackability's team: Screen Shot 2015-11-22 at 19.26.34 Like Mowse73, Bouncebackability also stacked up on the maximum amount (three) of Chelsea and Everton players. The other five slots were used to draft in Leicester duo Vardy and Mahrez, Arsenal's Sanchez and Giroud, and in-form Southampton defender Bertrand. FantasyBet's scoring works the same as Fantasy Premier League, so an average of six points per defensive player is a benchmark most managers will be looking for. Despite Bertrand blanking in a favorable fixture, Ivanovic's three bonus points and Coleman's assist meant that the defence averaged at just under 7pts per player. In attack, Barkley (19pts) and Lukaku's (12pts) point hauls were enough to create a huge gap between the owners and the non-owners. Bouncebackability's choice to captain Lukaku also added an additional 12pts to his total score. Elsewhere, goals from Mahrez, Vardy and Giroud helped account for the low scoring performances from Sanchez and Hazard. Another good all round display that again shows the importance of stacking the maximum amount of players from the teams you think will dominate. However, the ridged scoring on FantasyBet can show the downfalls of this tactic (see Sanchez and Hazard for example). Luckily for Bouncebackability, the points he acquired from his Everton stack and his wise choice of captain were enough to seal the deal.
