Fantasy Premier League Differential Tips For Gameweek 19

Share post on:
Welcome back to another article highlighting Fantasy Premier League Differential Tips for Gameweek 19. This week Callum Read picks out five differentials ahead of Gameweek 19. The fixtures are coming at us thick and fast, of course this is a treat for fans of both FPL and the daily game over on MondoGoal and FantasyBet. Our differential tips are here to provide you with some low ownership players that could make the difference for your side(s). Please note, all players must be below 5.0% ownership to be considered a differential.

FPL Differential Tips

Jordan Veretout (5.6m) vs Norwich (A) 0.1% Ownership

Aston Villa recruited a lot of players from Ligue 1 last year, one buy who is going under the radar is midfielder Jordan Veretout. The midfielder is turning out to be a really promising buy and will be key to Aston Villa if they are to stay up. Did you know the Frenchman has registered three assists in his last five Premier League games? At just 5.6m the Aston Villa man could be a great rotation option for the future.

Cameron Jerome (4.5m) vs Aston Villa (H) 0.6% Ownership

Norwich City have struggled to score goals this season, their total for the season sits at 20 goals after 18 Premier League games but whilst Veretout has tightened up the midfield, the Aston Villa defence still looks very weak. The Norwich frontman has only scored three goals this season but showed last week against Manchester United what he is capable of. Jerome helped himself to a goal and an assist but was anonymous against Spurs on Boxing Day. We expect to see Jerome doing all he can to get back on the score sheet against a struggling back line.

Glen Johnson (5.1m) vs Everton (A) 4.6% Ownership

There were a few eyebrows raised when Stoke City signed Glen Johnson in the summer but to his credit the former Liverpool right back has been a fantastic addition. Stoke are a wonderful side to watch and Mark Hughes has transformed them into a side that like to keep possession instead of lumping it long like they did under Tony Pulis. They have still kept the defensive steel though and are tough to break down. Johnson himself has kept eight clean sheets this season and also brings an attacking threat, collecting three assists in the Premier League this season.

MondoGoal Differential Tips

Aaron Ramsey (12.1m) vs Bournemouth (H)

Our MondoGoal tip for Gamweek 19 is Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey. Whilst Bournemouth have put some impressive results on the board lately, beating Manchester United and Chelsea, we feel Arsenal away will be a bridge to far. Arsene Wenger's side will be looking to put their 4-0 defeat to Southampton in Gameweek 18  behind them and bounce back against Bournemouth. We've seen time after time that Ramsey brings energy to the Arsenal midfield but he also loves a shot at goal, which on MondoGoal is worth two points.

FantasyBet Differential Tips

Loic Remy (7.0m) vs Manchester Untied (A)

A 2-2 draw against Watford on Boxing Day gave Guus Hiddink his first point as Chelsea manager during his second spell. Diego Costa helped himself to two goals but also picked up a booking in the process. This means he has now reached five bookings for the season which leaves him suspended for the game against Manchester United. It seems most likely that Remy will get call to start at Old Trafford and could provide a great differential, as he will want to prove to the manager he is good enough to start.
