Gameweek 7 Captain Tips For Fantasy Premier League.
It's form vs fixture vs odds in this week's captain tips for Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 7. We compare inform South Americans Aguero and Sanchez, goalscoring mids Sterling and Antonio as well as Lukaku, Costa, Coutinho and Ibrahimovic.
Our top captaincy choice last week, Sergio Aguero rewarded those who returned the armband to the Argentine with two goals and maximum bonus points for a 13-point haul.
His City teammate Kevin De Bruyne also hit double figures, securing ten points through a pair of assists and two bonus points before being forced off with injury. Sterling also managed to get on the scoresheet but was booked and managed only six points.
The top scorer of our captaincy option was Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez, who overcame a potentially difficult fixture at Chelsea to net a goal, assist and maximum bonus from his position up front and score 14 points.
Elsewhere Sadio Mane found the net but was outperformed by other Liverpool midfield options and scored only seven points, while Antonio, Capoue and Lukaku blanked in appetising fixtures, Costa did nothing against Arsenal and Ibrahimovic managed no attacking returns despite United beating Leicester 4-1.

Perhaps surprisingly considering his haul at the weekend, Aguero has been usurped at the top of the form chart by fellow South American, Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean has delivered three double-figure returns in the last four and has an average of 10.25 points per game as opposed to the Argentine's 9.25.
For those who don't have Aguero, Sterling is in fine from with four goals in four games and an average of 8.75 points in that time and may find more opportunities with Kevin De Bruyne out. While Lukaku blanked, he still boasts four goals in recent times along with Michail Antonio, scoring 8.25 and 7.25 points respectively.
Costa and Coutinho have both scored a respectable 6 points with a double-figure haul in the last four each and while Ibrahimovic has been outscored by compatriot Marcus Rashford, he makes it in by way of his high ownership and goal against Zorya in the Europa League.

Despite being in the worst form of our captaincy options, Ibrahimovic's stock is boosted by a fixture against 19th-placed Stoke. The Potters have been porous in defence, conceding 11 big chances and struggling without Jack Butland.
Diego Costa also has an appetising fixture away at Hull. The Tigers have consistently been at the top for big chances conceded and have been found out against top opposition, conceding nine goals in their last two games against Arsenal and Liverpool.
Phillipe Coutinho could benefit against a Swansea side who is joint with Hull for giving away chances, although it is worth bearing in mind he will be sharing these chances with the rest of the Liverpool midfield. Antonio, Sanchez and Lukaku face average defences, although the former may struggle against Middlesbrough considering his reliance of shots in the area.
Aguero and Sterling have the worst fixture on paper, facing the best defence in the league. Spurs have conceded the fewest girls and rank equal best for denying clear-cut chances. Sterling is less appealing, but it is worth noting Aguero has ten in eight against Spurs, although failed to score against them last season.

With favourable victories against Stoke and Hull respectively, the bookies rate the chances of Ibrahimovic and Costa higher than the rest of our captaincy options, with the Swede topping the charts with 54.55% and pipping the Spaniards 52.38% chance.
Aguero and Sanchez both sit on an implied chance of 44.44%, with Aguero's potentially difficult fixture and Sanchez perhaps moving to the wing or not playing the full 90 tempering the bookies' enthusiasm.
Coutinho's lack of goalscoring consistency puts him at a 38.1%, while the Hammers struggling to click means Antonio is rated at only 33.33% despite being the league's joint-top scorer.
Finally Sterling has been given the worst chance by the bookies with 30.77%. The winger may struggle against a Spurs defence without service from Kevin De Bruyne.

This week's captaincy choice is one of the most difficult yet, with three players tied for form, fixture and bookies odds. The golden rule of ‘form above fixture' however suggests captaining Sanchez. The Chilean has an extra day's rest from Champions League duty and has a decent record against Burnley.
Those who don't own the Chilean can do a lot worse than Costa or Ibrahimovic. Both do well this week due to their favourable fixtures, with the Swede perhaps edging out the Spaniard due to home advantage and Costa's propensity for picking up yellows.
Sergio Aguero is, as always, an option despite a difficult fixture. The Argentine is in great form but if anyone can keep him out it's Mauricio Pochettino and his Spurs defence. Romelu Lukaku also offers a decent option for those who don't fancy the Argentine this week.
Captaincy Competition:
Congratulations to
LordOfShadows who was our Gameweek 6 highest scorer. Sergio Aguero returned him (and the majority of entrants) with 26 points. However, Shadows was the ONLY manager last week to choose Heung-Min Son as a differential and was rewarded with a huge 30 points after Son netted a brace against Middlesbrough.
Tommass4 still tops the
overall leaderboard with 178 points, but after only scoring 8 points in GW6, the gap has now been closed.
As this article has gone up a day late, we will be accepting entries until 12:30 on Saturday. However, if you wish to select players from the Friday night fixture then you must have made your comment before kick-off.
To enter, comment below with a best bet, differential (less than 5% ownership) and defender pick. The player with the highest five gameweek scores at the end of the season will win our top secret prize.
