Gameweek 28 is yet to reach its conclusion, but we are already looking ahead to Gameweek 29. In GW28, there were strong returns for the shield/reverse pick, plus the sword, fixture and Clueless Husband pick. There was disappointment further down the field though and I'm about to throw in the towel for the ‘park the bus' pick with the hopeless state of FPL defences.GW28 captain stats [Overall - LIVE TEAMS ] Salah 47% Kane 24% Aguero 9% Firmino 5% KDB 2% Lukaku 1.5% Vardy... https://t.co/7OskWkSybi

Of course Salah and Kane have returned for another week and are set to go head to head once more for our armbands in Gameweek 29. The situation at Manchester City means that there is doubt cast over the effectiveness of Aguero, with Jesus lurking in the wings. The secret pattern has continued, as I try to make sense of the common dilemma between the Premier League big guns. The pattern continues, as Salah outscores Kane.

Shield Pick: Mohammed Salah vs Newcastle (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 11/20So long as Salah can stay fit, there's no displacing him from this section. He is firmly fixed and has over 50 fantasy points more than the best of the rest: it has really been a phenomenal season. If you're protecting rank, leave the armband on him for the final 10 weeks. It's home comforts again this week: his last 5 scores at Anfield are 9, 14, 11, 15, 10. He's certainly on a hot streak, with three consecutive double digit scores and a tight battle for the golden boot. With penalties in the locker too, will you opt for the shield once more?Salah wins the battle of the big 2 captains again

Sword Pick: Sergio Aguero vs Chelsea (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 10/11The days of confidently captaining Aguero are on hold with Jesus back fit. There may be clues in the lineup once we've seen the Gameweek 28 team sheet on Thursday evening. The fixture isn't amazing, but Aguero is fixture proof: he has 7 goals and 2 assists against Chelsea in 11 Premier League appearances. Sergio certainly likes playing at the Etihad: his last 5 home scores are 16, 6, 17, 6, 21. Rotation is a worry, but Pep is likely to give Sergio plenty of minutes in his quest for the golden boot. Are you going with the sword pick to get an edge over your mini league rivals?Sergio Aguero's 199th goal for @ManCity is his 30th of the season - the 4th time in 7 seasons at the club that he has reached that figure pic.twitter.com/WidurbAxNk

Reverse Pick: Harry Kane vs Huddersfield (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 8/15If you are following the secret pattern, you'll trust Kane this week: he will be my captain choice. He has the best fixture out of those in the golden boot race and deserves the reverse pick following that brace back in Gameweek 7. He's got 6 goals in his last 6 games and has the potential to explode in this one. Penalties can boost his total too. The caveat is that he could play minutes in the FA Cup replay prior to this, plus Juventus visit Wembley next midweek so minutes may be limited. Can the reverse pick fire once more?⏪ REVERSE FPL ⏪

Form Pick: Eden Hazard vs Manchester City (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 21/10The fixture is tough but Hazard has the best form of all fantasy players, having 5 goals and 1 assist in his last 5 games. Any game at the Etihad is tough, and I expect City to win this one, but they aren't known for keeping clean sheets. In fact, City only have one clean sheet in seven. If Chelsea manage to break down the sky blues defence, then expect Eden to be at the heart of it. He's on penalties and he scored in this fixture last season, against Pep's men. Will you take a risk on the form pick?Eden Hazard still tops the Premier League form rankings, but the gap between the Belgian and Sergio Aguero in second is shortening...

Fixture Pick: Sadio Mane vs Newcastle (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 19/20Mane performed well as the fixture pick last week and he get's another bite of the cherry this week. I've swerved the Spurs midfield here due to the potential rotation around the UCL. Mane is not as prolific as Salah, but he has real consistency recently: he has three attacking returns in his last four games. Newcastle try to keep things tight but have struggled against the big clubs on the road this season, there's definitely goals in this one. Mane could easily have had a brace last time out, will it be his week to shine?Salah, Firmino & Mane.

Punt Pick: Troy Deeney vs West Brom (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 9/5Now big Troy definitely lives up to his punt billing. I couldn't resist choosing a Watford player at home to bottom of the league West Brom, with Pardew quickly losing his grip on the Baggies. West Brom have kept one clean sheet away from home this season, and that was all the way back in Gameweek 2, so expect a goal or two here. Deeney is a poacher and he's on penalties too. He scored a cracking goal last week, can he make it two weeks in a row? After netting the winner against #EFC at the weekend, Troy Deeney now has four #WatfordFC goals in the #PL. Park the Bus Pick: Ben Davies vs Huddersfield (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 8/1 Clean Sheet Odds: 4/7The amount of clean sheets around at the moment really is woeful, so the park the bus pick is seriously on borrowed time! It has to be attacking players in the running and Ben Davies certainly meets that criteria: he has two goals and 6 assists this season. He also got 16 points in the reverse fixture earlier this season, with a goal, assists and clean sheet! Again, there's a rotation worry with the Champions League game coming up this week. However, if you're brave enough to captain a defender, you're probably not worried about that too much!#CRYTOT BONUS POINTS AS IT STANDS

Clueless Husband Pick: Xheradan Shaqiri vs Southampton (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 3/1It was inevitable that ‘Shakira' would feature in this section at some point. The only reason that Shaqiri made it into my Clueless Husband's team, was that his name is so similar to Columbian pop star Shakira! At one point I thought my husband was a secret football lover, when he picked out Pique in a crowd - turns out the link is that its Shakira's Husband! With 3 goals in 3 games, Shaqiri is a worthwhile pick! He has good form and good fixtures. Will you be siding with my Clueless Husband? Until Next Week… Good Luck! Holly.
