The weekly captain decision was closer than ever in Gameweek 25 between the big 3: Kane, Aguero and Salah. None of them dominated, but Aguero and Salah managed to escape with a goal apiece for the 3 million FPL managers who gave one of them the armband. As the season progresses, many will be looking for a captaincy risk this time out. With Spurs visiting Anfield and Manchester City travelling to Turf Moor, it could be time to think outside the box and give a low ownership player the captaincy. Some interesting options have emerged out of the Gameweek 25 results.GW25 captain stats Overall - live teams Salah 27.6% Aguero 22.8% Kane 19.9% Sterling 5.2% KDB 4.6%https://t.co/73oDMSnf3R

Shield Pick: Mo Salah vs Tottenham (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 21/20Mo keeps his place as the shield pick due to his massive ownership and his stock is bolstered by the fact that he's now on penalties once more! This is huge news for the games top points scorer, as he hunts Harry Kane down in the golden boot race: he now has 19 goals and 8 assists. On paper the fixture appears tough, but Mo managed a goal when Liverpool lost 4-1 at Wembley earlier this season. He has an excellent record against the top 6 at Anfield, having scored against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City already. Salah has been prolific recently, with 5 goals and 4 assists in his last 6 games. His last 3 scores in home fixtures are 11, 14 and 9. If you have a strong rank to protect, let Salah be your shield pick this week!Salah strikes again... #PL pic.twitter.com/C76EW6Aabb

Sword Pick: Sergio Aguero vs Burnley (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 7/10There's no avoiding the success of Aguero over recent weeks and with Jesus still out for a significant length of time, Sergio remains a constant captaincy contender for us. He scored when Burnley visited earlier this season and has 4 goals in 4 starts against Sean Dyche's men. He is another high profile player who has penalties in his locker and will be looking to exploit a Burnley defence struggling with injuries. It could be Tom Heaton's first game back after a lengthy lay off, he could be a little rusty: Ward and Tarkowski are among the potential absentees. Burnley haven't kept a clean sheet in their last 4 and allowed Spurs to fire in 4 goals when they visited Turf Moor last month. If you've ground to make up, hand Aguero the armband as your sword this week.
Reverse Pick: Harry Kane vs Liverpool (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 21/20The Premier League have organised their fixtures this season so that entire gameweeks are played in reverse from home/away. At this stage in the season, I've regularly taken a look back for clues to set up my squad and consider captain potential. Harry Kane led the dream team back in Gameweek 9, so is gifted the inaugural Reverse captain pick. When Liverpool visited Wembley, Kane got 2 goals, an assist and a massive 16 points. Don't let the fixture put you off, Kane is on the cusp of his 100th Premier League goal and has 4 goals and 2 assists against Liverpool. He has 3 goals in his last 3 games so the potential is there. The caveat is that Spurs are notoriously poor away to top 6 opposition. Are you going to go with the brand new reverse pick?⚠️Gameweek 26 sees the reverse of the Gameweek 9 fixtures.

Form Pick: Callum Wilson vs Stoke (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 11/10Callum Wilson is on some run as our third striker, with 4 goals and 2 assists over the last 6 games. The haul against Chelsea was a surprise for many, but now the fixtures have turned for the better so Callum could reappear in subsequent weeks. Stoke have managed to sure things up at the back under Paul Lambert, but Wilson has been prolific at home this season: 5 of his 7 goals have come at the Vitality Stadium. Will you go with the form pick this time out?🔥 Callum Wilson has been directly involved in 6️⃣ goals in his last 6️⃣ #PL appearances for @afcbournemouth - 4 goals and 2 assists pic.twitter.com/RsyeHsAQaP

Fixture Pick: Alexis Sanchez vs Huddersfield (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 10/11Alexis Sanchez hasn't had the smoothest of starts at Manchester United but should be fired up in his Old Trafford debut this weekend. Jose's men will be looking for a strong result, after losing 2-1 to Huddersfield back in Gameweek 9. The fixture couldn't be any better, Huddersfield are in the worst run of all Premier League sides and have conceded 12 goals across their last 4 games. A massive haul could be in the running for Alexis, are you going with the fixture pick?Alexis Sanchez vs Tottenham

Punt Pick: Theo Walcott vs Arsenal (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 19/5Theo Walcott has been on fire since joining Everton, he has a serious point to prove and many managers are jumping on the bandwagon. This week he returns to his old club, so expect his blistering start at Everton to continue in this one He does enjoy scoring against his old clubs: he has 4 goals and 2 assists in 8 games against Southampton. Park the Bus Pick: Marcos Alonso vs Watford (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 3/1 Clean Sheet Odds: 6/5Marcos Alonso disappointed us in Gameweek 25 after that scintillating run of 8 consecutive returns. He can't be dislodged from our defensive pick that easily though and could prove to be a promising captaincy contender in this week's Monday Night Football. Watford have only scored 3 goals in their last 4 games, whereas Chelsea have kept 6 clean sheets in their last 8. Conte will want to firm things up after a poor performance against Bournemouth and if any defender can pick up an attacking return, it's Alonso. Are you brave enough to captain a defender?SCOUT: Chelsea's run of 4 successive clean sheets at Stamford Bridge comes to an end. Clueless Husband Pick: Jordan Ayew vs Leicester (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 3/1“Are you?!” is one of my Husband's trademark catchphrases. Apparently Ayew sounds very similar, which was one of the draws fo transfer him in for Gameweek 25. Unfortunately, poor squad management meant that his 8 points were left on the bench, but he's making amends by giving him the captains armband this time out. Jordan does have 4 goals in his last 7 games, including in his last 2 away appearances, so it's not a completely unreasonable selection. It will be interesting to see how the Ayew brothers line up for Swansea, surely Jordan will be bolstered by the arrival of his more prolific brother, Andre. Swansea are on an upward trajectory, overcoming Liverpool and Arsenal with ease in recent games. Will you go with my Clueless Husband's pick? Until Next Week… Good Luck! Holly.
