Gameweek 24 witnessed the most challenging captaincy decision of the season. It was almost a three way split among the Twitter community, with contrasting result if you lumped on Aguero or Salah. I strongly considered Aguero, but played safe with Kane in the end. My Clueless Husband went for the wrong Arsenal defender: the clean sheet was cruelly taken away towards the end of the game.So many reliant on @HKane... #FPL pic.twitter.com/TfN8qhpyWo

There's plenty of promising options this week, since Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea face favourable fixtures. Harry Kane is omitted, since he doesn't have a great record against Manchester United and Spurs tend to struggle against the big sides in the Premier League. Keep an eye on FA Cup team sheets, injuries and suspensions before making your final decision. Gameweek 26 follows quickly, so there may be some rotation. Here's my options for Gameweek 25.Gameweek 25 sees the reverse fixtures from the INFAMOUS Gameweek 10.

Shield Pick: Mohammed Salah vs Huddersfield (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 19/20Salah disappointed many, with his blank against Swansea, but I fully expect him to bounce back this time out. He is the highest owned player in the game, having amassed the biggest points total: he looks set to be the most captained again this week which makes him an ideal shield pick. Back in Gameweek 10, when Huddersfield visited Anfield, he missed a penalty but then made amends by getting an assist. The Huddersfield defence have been woeful lately, conceding 9 goals over the course of their last 3 Premier League games. Are you going to protect your rank with this weeks shield pick?Mo Salah's Gameweek 24:

Sword Pick: Sergio Aguero vs West Brom (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 1/2Congratulations to those of you who went with the sword pick last week. He returns for another promising fixture. Sergio loves playing against West Brom almost as much as he enjoys playing Newcastle: he's got 7 goals and 5 assists in 10 appearances. Incidentally, West Brom shipped three goals to this City side earlier in this season. His 2018 has got off to an absolute flier, he has 4 goals and an assist in his last 3 Premier League games. He did play the full 90 minutes in the EFL cup semi final so his owners will be hopeful of a rest in the FA Cup. Aguero may be on borrowed time as a captaincy option, as Jesus looks set to return from his injury very soon. Will you roll the dice on Aguero again this time out?Sergio Aguero in 2018:

Form Pick: Anthony Martial vs Spurs (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 11/4Martial leading the form rankings came as a bit of a surprise to me. This under the radar player has three double digit FPL scores in succession, having scored in each of his last 3 games. He has truly earned his place as this weeks form pick, despite what looks to be a challenging fixture on paper. Martial scored when these sides met at Old Trafford earlier this season and Spurs have been struggling for clean sheets this season. With the strength and depth in the Manchester United squad, a start can't be guaranteed, but the potential for another double digit haul is clear. Fixture Pick: Eden Hazard vs Bournemouth (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 23/25Eden Hazard frustrated those who gave up on him, by getting a brace last weekend. He is back on form and regularly chips in with penalties too. This upturn in form has coincided with the absence of Morata, and this looks set to continue. Hazard has scored in each of his last 5 games against the Cherries and Bournemouth haven't kept a clean sheet since Gameweek 13. Will you let Eden repay the faith by handing him your Gameweek 25 armband? After years of statistical #FPL research, I present to you:

Punt Pick: Riyad Mahrez v Everton (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 16/5Mahrez has quietly climbed his way up the midfielder points chart in FPL, showing the sort of consistency that he had in Leicester's title winning season. He is on a great run, having scored 3 and assisted 3 in his last 6 PL games. Everton haven't managed to keep a clean sheet in their last 4 games and Riyad got an assist against them back in Gameweek 10. There has been some speculation about Mahrez's future at Leicester during the transfer window, so a start isn't guaranteed, but he is an ideal punt if you have a lot of ground to cover in your mini leagues.8 goals ⚽️ 7 assists

Park the Bus Pick: Marcos Alonso vs Bournemouth (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 14/5 Clean Sheet Odds: 19/20I might as well just rename this section, the Alonso pick. There are now just 4 FPL players who have more points than Mr. Consistent. He may be a defender, but he remains a sensible and credible option on a weekly basis. He has faced Bournemouth three times: Chelsea got a clean sheet in two of those games and in the other, Alonso scored. Can he make it an incredible 9 returns in a row?| The first FPL player this season to return in 8 consecutive games! Mr. Consistent!

Clueless Husband Pick: Harry Maguire vs Everton (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 23/2 Clean Sheet Odds: 9/5He failed spectacularly with Bellerin last week, plus he owns Alonso, but this week his captaincy option is yet another defender: Harry Maguire! Why? He follows Harry on Instagram, since he was the best Hull City player when we had a season ticket last season and apparently Harry posted that he got Man of the Match in his last game. Maguire is arguably on a strong run, Leicester have kept 3 clean sheets in a row: he swept up the bonus points in his last game. Are you brave enough to go with my Clueless Husband's selection?
