Watford vs Leicester

The weekend's action begins at Vicarage Road and with Watford being bought back down to Earth last Saturday, Nigel Pearson knows that his players are going to have to once again do something special in front of their own fans.

That's because they find themselves hovering precariously above the relegation zone before the visit of Leicester and with the Foxes finally back in the groove, this will not be an easy encounter for the hosts.

Prediction: Watford 1-2 Leicester

Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace

Bournemouth may have given Liverpool an early scare last weekend but unfortunately for them they still returned from Anfield with nothing to show for it and after that defeat, the Cherries once again find themselves languishing in the relegation zone.

This Saturday sees them play host to a Crystal Palace side who have all but assured another season in the division and Eddie Howe will be hoping that his upcoming opposition now take their feet off the gas at the Vitality.

Prediction: Bournemouth 1-1 Crystal Palace

Brighton vs Arsenal

It's now nine games without a win for Brighton and that unwanted streak is subsequently the current longest in the Premier League. While it is this record that is making everyone connected with the East Sussex outfit nervous, as the threat of relegation looms large.

This Saturday they play host to an inform Arsenal side and with things now starting to click under Mikel Arteta, could a push for the European places be a genuine prospect.

Prediction: Brighton 0-2 Arsenal

Manchester City vs Burnley

Manchester City's defeat in Sunday's derby has meant that Liverpool have edged even closer to the Premier League title and should Pep Guardiola's men lose to both Arsenal and Burnley in the next few days, the one horse race will finally be run for good.

Burnley are also another form team at present and having not lost any of their last seven league outings, the Clarets look set for a rather strong showing at the end of this campaign.

Prediction: Manchester City 2-0 Burnley

Newcastle vs Sheffield United

Newcastle are not quite safe yet, but you get the feeling that after their efforts last weekend and a win over Southampton, that now just one more success between now and the final day, will be sufficient enough to keep them in the Premier League.

They play host to a Sheffield United side who refuse to falter in the race for Europe and Chris Wilder knows that a win on Tyneside will only further solidify his sides chances of a strong finish.
Prediction: Newcastle 0-1 Sheffield United

Norwich vs Southampton

Norwich reverted to type last weekend, as they suffered an away defeat to Sheffield United and with that in mind manager Daniel Farke will at least be grateful that the immediate teams above them, also failed to win last weekend.

This Saturday sees Norwich go up against a Southampton side who have lost four of their last six and could still do with at least one more league win to guarantee survival for this season.

Prediction: Norwich 1-2 Southampton

Aston Villa vs Chelsea

After a decent Aston Villa showing in the Carabao Cup Final, it was more of the same from a league point of view and with the West Midlands outfit shipping four to Leicester on Monday night, that will be a performance of real concern to manager Dean Smith.

Things get no easier this weekend, as they play host to a Chelsea outfit who are back in the groove after impressive wins in both league and cup and will be looking to continue their positive momentum at Villa Park.
Prediction: Aston Villa 1-3 Chelsea

West Ham vs Wolves

West Ham gave a decent account of themselves at Arsenal last weekend and although David Moyes can take some amount of solace from that, he will also know that his group of players will need to be more ruthless this weekend.

They play host to a Wolves side who looked lacklustre at home to Brighton and the Hammers will hope that it is more of the same, after their midweek Europa League exploits.

Prediction: West Ham 1-1 Wolves

Tottenham vs Manchester United

It never rains but it pours for Tottenham and with the injury to Steven Bergwijn adding him to the absentees list for the rest of the season, it is now a case of just get this campaign over and done with as far as Jose Mourinho concerned.

Unfortunately, he must go up against an old foe this Sunday, as Manchester United make the trip to North London and right now you wouldn't bet against them getting all three points either.

Prediction: Tottenham 0-2 Manchester United

Everton vs Liverpool

Everton were handed a rather humbling defeat last Sunday and it was one that just knocked the wind out of their potential European sails, as they slipped all the way down to twelfth place in the Premier League table.

This Monday, their primary role will be to act as party poopers, as it could be the night where Liverpool are just one win away from scooping a first ever Premier League title. Could the 30 year wait finally be over?

Prediction: Everton 1-2 Liverpool
