Gameweek 23 finally provided Verona with their first win of the season against 10 men Atalanta. After being 1-0 down the team struggling at the bottom of Serie A fought back to record a much needed 2-1 victory. AC Milan, Napoli and Inter Milan also all claimed deserved victories. Whereas Zarate's injury time winner saved Fiorentina from embarrassment in their 2-1 victory over Capri. Elsewhere 10 man Juventus edged past a resilient Genoa 1-0 and Roma showed their quality with a 2-0 win against Sassuolo.

Tip 1 � Napoli to dominate Carpi.
Napoli will look to continue their push for a first Serie A title in 26 years with comfortable win. Especially since Juventus have been slowly catching up on the league leaders. Carpi, currently 18
th, will feel heartbroken as they could not snatch a point against Fiorentina. So against a strong Napoli side their chances of an upset are slim. Points could be won all over the field in this game, starting with the goalkeeper
Pepe Reina. Reina has already got 10 clean sheets to his name, the 4
th highest in the league, and against a Capri team that doesn't offer too much upfront he should have a relatively easy game. We also recommend
Gonzalo Higuain as he is a guaranteed goal scorer this season. Higuain however does come at a heavy price. But for the Serie A top goal scorer (23 goals in the Serie A alone) the price should definitely be worth it.
Tip 2 � Sassuolo to claim a much needed victory.
Sassuolo are facing a horrible run of form as of late ,but against a poor Palermo side this may be the game to turn their season back around. Our recommendations for this match are
Sime Vrsaljko and
Francesco Acerbi. Despite being the Sassuolo right back Vrsaljko is the clubs top assister this season (3 assists) and with three man of the matches to his name he would be a solid player to put in your defence. Acerbi has also got 3 goals for Sassuolo this season despite being a defender. Also against a Palermo team that won't offer much in terms of offense a clean sheet is likely. However more importantly there is a chance of a goal or assist for these defenders.
Tip 3 � Andrea Belotti to star for Torino.
Andrea Belotti has been one of the inform strikers in recent weeks scoring 5 goals in 5 games. The striker overall only has 6 goals and 3 assists but in recent weeks his eye for goal has been outstanding. Last Gameweek he managed to score twice to secure a much needed 2-2 draw against Sampdoria. Torino however face the tougher task of Cheivo who currently are one place bellow Torino in 12
th. However, Cheivo have conceded 9 goals in their last 3 games so it is highly likely that Torino's top goal scorer will keep up his recent run with a goal or two. It may also be wise to invest in
Ciro Immobile who has had an average start to his Torino career with a goal and an assist since his January move from Seville. However having come off the bench to assist Belotti's last goal he is likely to start and could cause the Cheivo defence a lot of trouble.
Tip 4 � Inter Milan to get a clean sheet.
Inter Milan face a very upbeat Verona side who have just won their first game of the season. However Inter Milan's defence should have enough quality to prevent the relegation side from scoring.
Samir Handanovic has the most clean sheets for any keeper this season (13) and having been in inspired form in recent weeks, he looks set to keep another this Gameweek. Handanovic has also shown his goalkeeping ability by having the third highest amount of saves in the Serie A with 81 (only behind Viviano and Sorrentino).
Miranda is also a safe option as has he has 3 man of the matches and has also assisted 2 goals for inter this season. The former Atletico Madrid man has been solid at the back for Inter Milan and it will be very difficult for Verona to record a second successive win with him at the back.
Tip 5 � Empoli to profit over Atalanta's downfall.
Empoli come of the back of an average 1-1 draw against Udinese but against an Atlanta team losing to Verona they could have enough to gain a good result. Atalanta will be without Boukary Drame as the left back got sent off in his last match and that will be a major blow to the team. It may not be best to go for an Empoli defence as the team has conceded 32 goals this season which is high for a team sitting in 8
th. So with that in mind we recommend
Riccardo Saponara as a worthy purchase for this game . Saponara in recent weeks has not been performing to the standard we normally see him play. However he does have 5 goals and 7 assists this season and will be playing against a weakened Atlanta team. So it could prove to be a smart move should you decide to put the player in your team.
