[fusion_dropcap boxed="no" boxed_radius="" class="" id="" color=""]A[/fusion_dropcap]s we move into the final month of the Premier League season, it's time to have a look at which players formulate last month's Dream Team.
April had a congested fixture list that spanned from Gameweek 30-35. The team of the month has a value of 84.4m and tallied up a whopping 461 points over the last 6 gameweeks.
This is an average of 41.9 points per player, and 76.8 per week (not including captaincy points).

The team consists of: de Gea (35); Jagielka (43), Bailly (42), Ranocchia (37); Eriksen (46), Son (46), Hazard (44), Alli (43), King (40); Aguero (44), Vardy (41).
To sort players by a gameweek range, use our Form Tracker tool. Perfect for identifying those picking up, or losing, FPL form.
As is typical for this point in the season, we're starting to see the players with ‘something left to play for' surpassing those without. Aside from Ranocchia (HUL) and Vardy (LEI), the team consists only of players from the top half of the Premier League, 36% of which are from the top 2.
Meanwhile, the Tottenham trio of Eriksen, Son & Alli serve as an excellent example of how owning one player from a team as ‘coverage' is a disproved and illogical tactic.

GP: Games Played, GS: Goals Scored, FTS: Failed to Score
Tottenham have done everything in their power to keep their title dreams alive, scoring 16 across their six matches in April. Along with Liverpool, Spurs have proved too much of an attacking threat for any of their opposition to shut them out.
League leaders Chelsea rank as April's second best attack with 13 goals for the month. Man United showed it was possible to curb the Blues attack, becoming the first team to hold them to a clean sheet since Gameweek 20.
The surprise entry this month is Hull City, who matched the attacking output of Liverpool for the duration of April. Marco Silva's January signings of Grosicki, Markovic and Niasse have sparked a life into Hull's attack and the statistics reflect that.

GP: Games Played, GC: Goals Conceded, CS: Clean Sheets
Tottenham top both of our tables, but much to Jermaine Jenas' dismay, not the league table. 5 clean sheets in 6 matches is an incredible defensive display, and for some reason I still don't own any of their defenders.
Those who opted for Manchester United defenders in anticipation of their double gameweek were rewarded with 5 clean sheets from 7, but Jose's rotation did leave a lot of us watching points slip through the net. Myself included, who wisely opted for bloody Luke Shaw at the beginning of the month...
Burnley, Leicester, Watford & West Ham managed a clean sheet in 50% of their matches throughout April. With all teams safe but not in contention of qualifying for anything, we could see them start to ‘take to the beach' in the coming gameweeks, so proceed with caution.
Josh King, Eden Hazard, Dele Alli - and for parts, Sergio Aguero & Jamie Vardy - made it a pretty solid month for me. Let me know how your team got on in April in the comments.

Fantasy Football Magazine
The wonderful Fantasy Football Magazine have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for next season. If you're interested in pre-ordering a print subscription, joining a lucrative prize league, or just helping to keep the magazine free; then I urge you to go and take a look.
Image licensing makes it extremely hard for indie publications to get their feet off the ground. So if you're interested, head over to their indiegogo page and show your support for a magazine that's created by people who are genuinely passionate about FPL - the way it should be!
I've just preordered my print subscription, and can't wait for the pre-season guide to drop through my letterbox!
