All twenty Premier League clubs featured in the FA Cup Third Round this weekend and the Fplbet team have since been glued to the match highlights analysing each fixture ahead of Gameweek 21.
The third round kicked off on Friday, as Liverpool traveled to Exeter as strong favourites. Nevertheless, the visitors finished the evening with their tails between their legs with a 2-2 draw - only thanks to a 78th minute equaliser from youngster Brad Smith. New faces featured throughout the weekend, however, it was the familiar names who stole the show, with Diego Costa, Harry Kane, Olivier Giroud and Sergio Aguero all on the scoresheet.

- The injury crisis at Liverpool is still looming large with 13 players unavailable for selection.
- Key players Adam Lallana and Lucas Leiva were unused substitutes in the draw and will be fresh for Wednesday.
Wycombe 1-1 Aston Villa

- Aston Villa fielded a fairly strong side but started with key players Ayew and Veretout on the bench. The pair were subbed on in the 71st minute as Villa pushed for a winner, but failed to break down the Wycombe defence.
- Micah Richards started at right back and looked to get forward when possible. The skipper also managed to get on the scoresheet with shot in the 22nd minute.
Norwich 0-3 Man City

- Pellegrini stated that Aguero needed minutes and he's kept to that by starting the striker against Norwich. Aguero looked dangerous and scored and assisted before being subbed off in the 70th minute.
- Aleksandar Kolarov plays a full 90 raising speculation that he could be rested in favour of Gael Clichy on Wednesday.
- Good news for David Silva and Yaya Toure owners as neither featured in the squad and were both fully rested.
Arsenal 3-1 Sunderland

- Wenger has expressed his desires to take the FA Cup seriously and fielded a strong team that included several first team regulars. Mesut Ozil didn't feature in the squad and had a well needed rest after a congested fixture list.
- The FA Cup holders went behind to a surprise Jeremain Lens goal in the 17th minute. Joel Campbell volleyed home the equaliser, Aaron Ramsey tapped one in to put the Gunners ahead before Olivier Giroud close-range finished wrapped things up.
- Two second half assists from Hector Bellerin helped Arsenal complete their comeback after going 1-0 down after 17 minutes.
West Ham 1-0 Wolves

- Nikica Jelavic produced a low-angled, half-volley in the 85th minute that clinched the victory for West Ham over Championship side Wolves.
- Dimitri Payet featured from the bench for the second time this week. It looks likely that the Frenchman will start midweek, however we don't expect him playing a full 90 minutes.
- Another solid performance from the West Ham defence who will look to record their third successive clean sheet against Bournemouth this Tuesday.
Southampton 1-2 Crystal Palace

- Southampton started in a 3-5-2 system, a formation they've trialled a few times this season.
- Alan Pardew opted to field a very strong Crystal Palace side, with Yohan Cabaye making a return to first team football.
Watford 1-0 Newcastle

- Newcastle were the better side, but poor finishing and an unbeatable Heurelho Gomes prevented them from taking all 3-points.
- A misplaced Georginio Wijnaldum back pass was pounced upon by Troy Deeney who rounded Rob Elliot before finishing.
- Odion Ighalo was a substitute coming on in the 73rd minute.
Doncaster 1-2 Stoke

- Marko Arnautovic, Bojan, Xhredan Shaqiri or Ibrahim Affellay all didn't feature in the win - they'll be fresh for Wednesday's fixture against Norwich.
- Jonathan Walters returned to the Starting XI to notch his sixth goal of the season, he'll be hoping to start from the off in Stoke's midweek Premier League fixture.
Birmingham 1-2 Bournemouth

- Tokelo Rantie was given a rare start for ‘The Cherries', however he was forced off through injury after just 39 minutes.

- Manchester United looked lacklustre in attack yet again and never looked like scoring. The deadlock was finally broken by a stoppage time penalty converted by Wayne Rooney.

- Two regular faces, Bafetimbi Gomis and Jefferson Montero, were on the scoresheet in Swansea's disappointing loss to League 2 outfit Oxford United.

Chelsea 2-0 Scunthorpe

- Diego Costa continued his goalscoring run after volleying home Ivanovic's cross, before coming off in the 86th minute with what looked to be an injury.
- Good points from the Chelsea full-backs who both recorded clean sheets and assists.
- Cesc Fabregas looked to get the ball forwards as quickly as possibly picking out the runs of Chelsea's forwards on numerous occasions.
- Chelsea fielded a strong side with Gary Cahill replacing John Terry in the starting XI, allowing the Chelsea captain to rest his legs for Wednesday night.
Tottenham 2-2 Leicester City

- Harry Kane and Dele Alli both started the match on the bench but were brought on with 20 minutes to go after Okazaki put the visitors 2-1 up. Kane then earned Spurs a replay with an 89th minute penalty.
- Riyad Mahrez was an unused substitute meaning he'll be fresh for their second visit to White Hart Lane on Wednesday. Jamie Vardy didn't make the squad as he recovers from his groin operation.
- Debut assist for Demari Gray, his corner was headed past Michel Vorm. The new signing from Birmingham continued to take corners throughout his 65 minutes.
