The Eighteen Stats of Gameweek 18

Share post on:
By Jack Woodfield Much in the vein of how a Boxing Day drinking session (or 'sesh', if you're a millennial), proceeds Christmas Day, Gameweek 18 follows GW17 with delightful brevity. It's a frantic turnaround, with just 72 hours separating the end and beginning of the GWs - although an improvement on the 48 hours between GWs 16-17 - and this month there's less time to trawl team form and player data. Fear not, though, for pithiness is the theme of the day. Below are 18 salient stats of GW18, with a variety of topics including clean sheets, penalties and the exhausting life of Lukasz Fabianski. These aren't stats geared towards inspiring impulsive transfers, rather a general outlook of GW18 and the variants worthy of consideration when selecting your starting XI.
