Braveheart's GW12 review:
I won't dissect GW12 too much as I want to get this article out in good time ahead of GW13's deadline on Tuesday night. I had a good week and a small green arrow this week (up 20k to 650k). I ended up with 64 (-4) points. Returns from Captain Salah (16), Kane (9) and a heroic performance from Justin (11) and a pair of assists from Calvert-Lewin and Bamford. I have 1 FT heading into GW13 and 0.0m in the bank.
At the time of writing, the players on my "out list":
- Ramsdale - still no clean sheets and Sheffield United look like they are doomed for a relegation dogfight this season so I need to get rid of Ramsdale soon - Mendy and Martinez are potential replacements,
- Mahrez - he faces West Brom this week so he may remain for that unless it looks likely, following any Pep comments, that he may not play but I will likely keep Mahrez for GW12 and look to replace him for Son in the not too distant future.
Braveheart's GW13 reveal:
I may finally get rid of Ramsdale this week (for Martinez as I cannot bring in Mendy without a hit and I won't be taking a hit for a goalkeeper). I may also do nothing and use 2 FTs next week to reshape the Mahrez position in my team. I'm also pondering Salah to KDB but that would cause problems down the line as I would want Salah back shortly. One of my many FPL mantras is: if in doubt, do nothing.
If I make no moves this gameweek, my team for GW13 will be as follows:
- Ramsdale v Man United (h)
- Chilwell v Wolves (a)
- Justin v Everton (h)
- Walker-Peters v Arsenal (a)
- Salah v Tottenham (h)
- Fernandes (captain) v Sheffield United (a)
- Mahrez v West Brom (h)
- Grealish v Burnley (h)
- Kane v Liverpool (a)
- Calvert-Lewin v Leicester (a)
- Bamford v Bamford (h)
The team is not set in stone until the deadline so please follow me at @FPLBraveheart on Twitter for any updates. All the best and I hope everyone reading gets green arrows in GW13. But, most importantly, stay safe out there (or, more accurately, at home)!
