We've reached the final third of the season and in football parlance it means we've reached the “business end” of the campaign. Usually this means two entities going head to head in a juggernaut of a title clash, unfortunately Liverpool have put paid to that with their unwavering dominance.

However, there is still going to be a relegation battle and it is one that should go all the way to the end, especially as the teams that occupy the bottom three places change with each week that passes.

This gameweek also brings about a winter break of sorts, which means the calendar is split over two weeks, but thankfully it is not an international hiatus and that means there will still be just enough Premier League football to digest

Manchester City are undefeated in 31 of their last 34 home matches (Premier League). It's all very impressive but to be honest Pep Guardiola will just be eyeing up Champions League success this season and nothing else.
