We now move into the middle third of this Premier League season and although Liverpool are doing their very best to win the title before Christmas, there is still a lot of football to be played between now and next May.

Not only that, but because there is a lot of football still be played, it means the potential for new stats keeps developing and that means it is time for another round of perfect pub (or youth group) conversational fodder, as we dish out some lesser known Premier League facts and figures.

Liverpool have lost just two of their FIFTY-THREE Premier League matches, if this run continues could they stake a claim to be the best Premier League team of all time? Manchester City's centurions and the invincibility of Arsenal may argue, but it is certainly worth a very interesting debate.

Manchester City have won 23 of their last 27 matches (Premier League). In any other season, that would probably be enough to see you at the top of the table. However…..

Liverpool are undefeated in their last 44 home matches (Premier League) and it is this refusal to drop points at home, which has been the bedrock of their title tilts across the past two campaigns. While bar the exception of Manchester United in October, they are simply refusing to drop points this season.

That ominous record for Liverpool does not bode well for Brighton, as the Seagulls travel to Anfield on Saturday and Graham Potter's men have failed to win 34 of their last 38 Premier League away matches.

Chelsea have been drawing at half time and winning at full time in their last 3 home matches (Premier League). Although if Roberto starts for the Hammers this weekend, Chelsea will be winning at the interval, there is almost no doubt about that.

West Ham have failed to win a league game with Roberto between the sticks and the Hammers have now failed to win any of their last seven league outings, a streak that is only begrudgingly beaten by Southampton.

The Saints have picked up just two points from the last 24 on offer, a run that begs the very pertinent question. What comes sooner, a Southampton win or a P45 for Ralph Hasenhuttl?

Newcastle United have attempted the fewest passes per game in the Premier League this season, with 310.85. That figure has decreased since the last time we looked at it, on the basis of their Monday night showing against Aston Villa, maybe they should start trying to find a teammate or two.

Arsenal have not won any of their last five Premier League outings and have only won two of their last eleven. If that run continues, especially with the toxic nature of the Gunners fanbase, it won't be long before Unai Emery says ‘Good Ebening' for the last time.

While we are on the subject of Newcastle and Arsenal, let's take a quick look at what Joelinton and Nicloas Pepe have been up to lately:

Joelinton � 1046 minutes, 1 goal
Nicolas Pepe � 787 minutes, 1 goal

In summary not a lot. However, with the difference in minutes between the two, it shows that Nicolas Pepe cannot even get into first team at Arsenal, a damning indictment of his performances thus far.

Danny Ings' goal against Arsenal on Saturday sees the Southampton man join the top 10 Premier League goalscorers list for this season and the reason we have highlighted him in particular, is because he is now the man who contributes the highest percentage of goals to his club from that list.

The former Liverpool forward (remember when he played for them) has scored six of Southampton's 13 goals and that equates to a 46% contribution.

Wolves are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League outings while lying fifth and Sheffield United are unbeaten in their last six while lying sixth. Some say the table is broken this season, but many will say this upsetting of the apple cart, is good for English football.

Luka Milivojevic (Crystal Palace) and Jorginho (Chelsea) are the players who have been earned the most cautions thus far with six each.

Although Wolves' Roman Saiss is currently the division's naughtiest player this season, having earned five yellows and one red card.
