Sheffield United vs Newcastle

This curtailed round of action gets underway at Bramall Lane and with Sheffield United still looking for their first win of the season, demotion to the Championship next season is something that now looks all but a certainty.

A fate that visitors Newcastle are looking to avoid and although there is some distance between them and the bottom three, manager Steve Bruce will look for even more come the end of Tuesday.

Prediction: Sheffield United 0-1 Newcastle

Wolves vs Everton

Wolves have recalled Patrick Cutrone from his loan spell in Serie A and manager Nuno Espirito Santo will be hoping that the return of the Italian, is the one act that can return the West Midlands outfit to winnings ways.

They've not won any of their last four games and with Everton coming to town on Tuesday, the Toffees will look to bounce back from their surprising home defeat to West Ham last Friday night.

Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Everton

Burnley vs Manchester United

With Burnley's protracted takeover talks finally seeing a deal completed, the question is just how much investment will be put into the club and will manager Sean Dyche be the recipient of any newfound wealth before the end of the month.

Those riches will not arrive soon enough for the visit of Manchester United and if the Red Devils can avoid defeat on Tuesday night, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will lead his players to the top of the table.

Prediction: Burnley 1-2 Manchester United

Manchester City vs Brighton

It seems as if the light blue machine is starting to crank into life and with Manchester City strolling to victory against Chelsea last Sunday, the fact that they did do so without a recognised forward on the field, was even more impressive.

They play host to a Brighton side that have not won any of their last eight league outings and even with the arrival of Percy Tau up front, it looks like this unwanted run will soon extend to nine.

Prediction: Manchester City 3-0 Brighton

Aston Villa vs Tottenham

With Covid-19 sweeping through the Aston Villa squad, the status of this game is in serious jeopardy and although health undoubtedly comes first, this could end up being another frustrating postponement for Tottenham.

After already suffering the same fate for their recent game against Fulham, a potential fixture backlog looks like it could be on the horizon and this may hamper Spurs later in the season.

Prediction: Aston Villa 0-2 Tottenham (if the game goes ahead)

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

All seems calm at the Emirates now, as the Gunners have won their last three league outings and when you consider just how the volatile the table is at present, it is almost ludicrous that Arsenal are still even in with a shout of European football next season.

Something that will most likely allude their opponents Crystal Palace and after getting the better of Sheffield United last weekend in their last outing, they will now look for another positive outcome on Wednesday.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Crystal Palace
