Southampton vs Leicester

The Premier League action starts early this week, as we are treated to another portion of Friday Night Football and this time it is struggling Southampton who play host to a high-flying Leicester outfit.

The Saints were decent value for a point at Molinuex last weekend, but manager Ralph Hasenhuttl knows that wins will need to be the order of the day. While a win for Leicester, sees them go second in the table.

Prediction: Southampton 1-2 Leicester

Manchester City vs Aston Villa

Pep Guardiola's man have cut the gap at the top of the table to just six points and the defending champions will look to make further inroads this Saturday, as Manchester City play host to Aston Villa.

The West Midlands outfit have now won their last two league outings and confidence will be high within the camp, although with a trip to the Etihad on the horizon it will need to be.

Prediction: Manchester City 3-0 Aston Villa

Watford vs Bournemouth

Last weekend Watford were just minutes away from earning their first Premier League win of the season and were it not for a late Dele Alli equaliser at Tottenham's new stadium, the Hornets would have been undoubtedly been buzzing.

However the search for a victory continues and this week they will hope that it becomes a not so perfect ten, as they play host to a Bournemouth side who were held by Norwich last week.

Prediction: Watford 1-1 Bournemouth

West Ham vs Sheffield United

After an impressive six-game unbeaten streak, West Ham have now lost back to back league matches and you have to say that their showing against Everton last Saturday, was one of their worst performances thus far.

They play host to a Sheffield United side who will no doubt be buoyant, after getting the better of Arsenal on Monday night and they will now look for a quickfire London double.

Prediction: West Ham 2-1 Sheffield United

Brighton vs Everton

Considering Brighton played the majority of their game against Aston Villa with just ten men, it is fair to say that Graham Potter's men gave a good account of themselves. However, they still came away from Villa Park empty handed, after conceding a last minute winner.

This Saturday sees them play host to an Everton side, who will have helped ease the pressure on manager Marco Silva, after an impressive showing at home to West Ham last Saturday.

Prediction: Brighton 0-1 Everton

Burnley vs Chelsea

Burnley were outfoxed by Leicester at the King Power Stadium and were it not for a slightly dodgy VAR decision (were have we heard that before), the Clarets would have left the East Midlands with a well-earned point.

This Saturday sees them play host to Frank Lampard's Chelsea and with the Blues now in the top-four, the West Londoners are growing in stature with each week that passes.

Prediction: Burnley 1-2 Chelsea

Newcastle vs Wolves

Newcastle played not to lose against Chelsea last Saturday and although they gave a decent account of themselves, they were still undone by Marcos Alonso's late strike one that now sees the Magpies occupy one of the three unwanted relegation places.

This Sunday sees them play host to a Wolves side who were also outwitted by VAR last weekend and they will look to extend their current unbeaten run to five Premier League matches.

Prediction: Newcastle 0-2 Wolves

Norwich vs Manchester United

Norwich are another outfit that currently occupy a place in the bottom three and since that incredible win over Manchester City, the Canaries have picked up just one point from the last twelve that have been on offer.

On Sunday they play host to Manchester United and after showing a lot more grit and determination against Liverpool last weekend, they will be expected to build on that with an away win.

Prediction: Norwich 1-1 Manchester United

Liverpool vs Tottenham

Liverpool's attempt at entering the Premier League record books was thwarted by Manchester United last Sunday and not only did their impressive winning streak come to an end, but they also saw their lead at the top of the table cut by two points.

This Sunday sees them play host to a Tottenham side that are still very much out of sorts and the pressure is once again on Mauricio Pochettino and his players to deliver a winning performance.

Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Tottenham

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

Arsenal and playing away from home is a combination that simply does not mesh at present and thankfully for Unai Emery, the Gunners find themselves entertaining fellow London outfit Crystal Palace at the Emirates this Sunday.

The Eagles had their wins clipped against Manchester City last Saturday and although Roy Hodgson tasted defeat, he can have little complaint about their current top six standing.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Crystal Palace.
