You know how the saying goes, you wait for one London based (ok Watford isn't strictly based in London but go with me here) Premier League manager to get the sack and then two come along almost at once.
Which means the sack race has been well and truly run for now and although Arsenal and Watford haven't named a replacement at the time of writing, the show must go on and it is a show that continues as early as midweek, with another round of fixtures on the horizon.
With that in mind, let's take a look at the top bets that you should consider over the course of these next few days.
TOTTENHAM KEEP IT CLEAN
Tottenham and clean sheets this season have been like Oil and Water, they simply do not mix and although they have flourished under Jose Mourinho when it comes to attack, they have seriously floundered at the other end.
Which with Manchester United on the horizon this Wednesday, should provide some cause for concern or does it? Let's be honest this current Red Devils vintage is by no mean a classic and they are not necessarily brimming with attacking talents.
Add to the mix, that Mourinho will want to prove a point on Wednesday when up against his former employers and this could be the first game in which he really shows his more pragmatic side, in order to make sure he gets the better of United.
Therefore, a Tottenham clean sheet (or Manchester United under 0.5 depending on the exact market) at odds of 3.65, is a price that really should be considered and although Spurs have not kept a league clean sheet since September, all bad runs have to end at some point.
Summary: Tottenham to keep it clean at Old Trafford
THURSDAY NIGHT UNDERS
A somewhat rare Thursday night Premier League showing is on the horizon and it is one that sees Sheffield United play host to Newcastle at Bramall Lane, a game that admittedly does not jump off the page for the neutral.
However, whether this is the most enthralling game on the midweek agenda or not is somewhat irrelevant, because there is still plenty of opportunities to place a bet or two and for this particular game, we are going to look at the under market.
With Sheffield United not quite as mean in defence as they once were, opposition teams are perhaps starting to work out that they can be got at. That said, Newcastle are not the ideal team to get at them, especially when you consider their indifferent away form.
Admittedly Newcastle did score twice against Manchester City at the weekend, but that was once again a case of non-attacking players doing the workload for the likes of Joelinton and Miguel Almiron.
Therefore, don't expect a boat load of goals in Yorkshire at the tail end of this midweek schedule and with that in mind, odds of 1.57 for a total of Under 2.5 goals are definitely worth taking into consideration.
Prediction: Under 2.5 goals at Bramall Lane
TOP THREE TREBLE
Here's a top treble for you to also mull over this midweek and once again we look at the top of the table for where some money is hopefully going to be made, which means Manchester City have a chance to earn some FPLBet redemption.
After only managing a draw against Newcastle on Saturday, they killed off the weekend four-fold and although their hopes of winning the Premier League are almost over, they can at least get the better of Burnley on Tuesday.
Fast forward 24 hours and Liverpool play host to their Merseyside cousins Everton and although Jurgen Klopp cannot call upon Alisson Becker because of his suspension, he can call upon a raft of attacking talent and Virgil Van Dijk for that matter.
While the third leg of the treble sees Leicester play host to Watford and although the new (caretaker) manager bounce will be a factor in this tie, this should be a game that the Foxes win with relative ease and that means this treble can be found at odds of approximately 2.35.
Summary: Back Manchester City, Liverpool and Leicester to win in midweek.
