Winner Takes £300 In Our Gameweek 29 Contest

Share post on:
This Sunday marks the biggest daily fantasy football contest to date on Sportito, with £1,000 in the prizepool. The contest costs just £3 to enter and the top 48 highest scoring managers will receive a slice of the payout - with £300 going to the winner. The contest is comprised from just Sunday's fixtures, so managers will need to construct their best XI from the following fixtures: (12:00) Middlesbrough vs Manchester United (14:15) Tottenham vs Southampton (16:30) Manchester City vs Liverpool The team submission deadline is at 11:55am (GMT) on Sunday, 5 minutes before the Middlesbrough vs Man United match kicks off. This means you will ONLY be able to see the confirmed lineups for that match, so there could be some great differentials or selection upsets to follow in the later fixtures. Sportito has no team budgets, so you can select any player you want without being restricted by prices. You can also create a team before signing up, so why not give that a try now? CLICK HERE TO CREATE A TEAM To win this contest, you will need to block the obvious high ownership players whilst running with a few shrewd differentials. You can guarantee that the likes of Sergio Aguero, Sadio Mane and Manolo Gabbiadini will be selected by the majority, so you'll need to make a calculated decision whether to also select them (and block your opponents) or gamble on a lesser owned player and hope they score higher.

Three differential tips for the Sportito £1,000 contest:

1: James Milner vs Man City Liverpool have won their last four matches against Manchester City in the league and will overtake their opposition in the table should they make it five. Milner found the net against his former club when they met in the league last season and as Liverpool's designated penalty taker, he could turn out to be a contest clincher in the final fixture on Sunday. 2: Heung Min Son vs Southampton Harry Kane was forced off the pitch within 10 minutes of Tottenham's FA Cup clash against Millwall. Whilst the news of his injury will likely be disappointing for Spurs fans, they can take solace in the fact that Son managed to fill the void with a second half hat-trick. We saw what Son was capable of at the beginning of the season and he could easily find the net should he start against Southampton. 3: Victor Valdes vs Man United Middlesbrough surprisingly have the fifth best defensive record in the league, despite being second from bottom. This season they've only conceded 30 goals, which is less than the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool. Manchester United will be without key striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but will likely still dominate proceedings. This bodes well for Boro goalkeeper Victor Valdes, who could rake in the save points and a potential clean sheet. Good luck in this Sunday's contest! Click here to enter.
