The FA Cup fifth round continues on Sunday, with two all Premier League ties and a tricky away fixture for West Ham at Championship side Blackburn. Tottenham welcome Crystal Palace to White Hart Lane and the two previous Premier League winners Chelsea and Manchester City battle it out at Stamford Bridge. This article provides a game-by-game analysis of the fixtures and some possible players to select for Sunday's Mondogoal and FantasyBet contests.

Fixtures (KO)

Blackburn vs. West Ham (14:00)

Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace (15:00)

Chelsea vs. Manchester City (16:00)

As usual, we've taken a look at what the bookies predict to give a rough indication of what's expected from these matches. The table below displays the bookies odds converted into an implied chance percentage:

Team Clean Sheet 2+ Goals
Blackburn 30.77% 30.77%
West Ham 40.00% 42.02%
Tottenham 47.67% 59.8%
Crystal Palace 16.67% 22.22%
Chelsea 40.00% 57.80%
Manchester City 20.00% 28.57%

Blackburn vs. West Ham

The Premier League side are the bookies favourites to win this one, but a match against Blackburn Rovers is harder than it looks on paper. Paul Lambert looks to be planning for next season, as they are way off the promotion race and it's unlikely that they are to be relegated - leaving the FA Cup as a perfect chance to bring some joy to their fans. Meanwhile, West Ham are pushing for a European spot and have only won two of their previous 11 games away from home. It's likely there will be some rotation in the Hammers squad with Emmanuel Emenike starting upfront. The striker's pace is going to be key in this one and West Ham will be looking to take advantage of this. Elsewhere for Dimitri Payet poses a constant threat on the ball and is a dead ball specialist, if Slaven Bilic gives the Frenchman the nod, he is a must-have. Looking at the Blackburn Rovers team, former Celtic striker Tony Watt will start upfront - he scored in the previous FA Cup round win over Oxford.

Emmanuel Emenike (Mondogoal: £3.5m, FantasyBet: £6.5m) Dimitri Payet (Mondogoal: £13.0m, FantasyBet: £10.0m) Tony Watt (Mondogoal: £6.1m, FantasyBet: £6.0m)

Tottenham vs. Crystal Palace

It's the home side who are the favourites for this one, and when you compare the two sides Premier League form it's easy to see why. Spurs have won their previous five league games scoring 13 goals in that period, whilst Crystal Palace haven't won in their last five games conceding 12 goals. It's a worry for Alan Pardew's side and they've slowly slipped down the table due to their lack of goals and leaky defence. January signing Emmnauel Adebayor returns to his former club and will be looking to get on the scoresheet at White Hart Lane.

For Spurs Nacer Chadli should get another chance to impress after his penalty gave Spurs an away goal in the Europa League tie with Fiorentina, the Belgian also has three goals in three FA Cup matches this season and will be looking to improve on that number against Crystal Palace.

Emmanuel Adebayor (Mondogoal: £5.1m, FantasyBet: £6.0mm) Nacer Chadli (Mondogoal: £7.9m, FantasyBet: £8.0m)

Chelsea vs. Manchester City

On paper, this match looks like the tie of the round, but the comments made by Manuel Pellegrini in his press conference could see this game swing in favour of the home side. The Chilean said “When young players have the opportunity, they must take their chance, the team we are going to play against Chelsea will give young players a chance.” However there are still names in the predicted Manchester City XI for you to consider, Kelechi Iheanacho has scored four goals in two FA Cup games this season and also has three goals in the Premier League - the 19-year-old will be determined to show Pellegrini he is good enough to start more matches. Guus Hiddink seems to be taking the FA Cup seriously, in both ties against Scunthorpe and MK Dons the interim manager hasn't rotated his squad massively and that isn't expected to change against Manchester City. Diego Costa has been in superb form under the Dutch manager, in 11 games the Spanish striker has scored eight goals and assisted five. While Willian has been producing the goods all season and was impressive in the midweek defeat against PSG, so we are expecting to see the Brazilian finding pockets of space and threading passes to his team mates once again.

Diego Costa (Mondogoal: £10.4m, FantasyBet: £10.5m) Willian (Mondogoal: £11.1m, FantasyBet: £9.5m) Kelechi Iheanacho (Mondogoal: £6.6m, FantasyBet: £7.0m)
