June 20th, 2015. Women's World Cup - Final 16 Knockout Stages - Daily Fantasy Football Tips Now we move onto the nitty-gritty section. The group stage of the Women's World Cup has come to an end and we now look ahead to the knockout fixtures and remaining 16 countries involved. The first two games of the knockout stages are Germany vs. Sweden followed by China vs. Cameroon. We're going to take a look at both fixtures and pick out a few players who we think you should keep your eye on.

GERMANY VS SWEDEN - PLAYER TIPS

Anja Mittag (F) 12.9m vs. Sweden Mittag is the tournament's leading goalscorer with four goals in just over 200 minutes of play. With Germany also top for goals scored (15) and attempts created (92), Mittag looks odds on to continue her excellent run of form and push for the golden boot. You can expect her to be in everybody's team and you'd be crazy to leave her out. Lena Goeßling (D) 7.2m vs Sweden We've recommended her before and will do so again. Goeßling was rested for Germany's final fixture vs. Costa Rica but will more than likely be reintroduced again tonight. Despite being classed as a ‘defender' she usually plays alongside Marozsan in the centre of the park. A consistent performer who tackles cleanly, passes accurately and will pull the strings in front of the back four. If you love a good OOP (out of position) player then Goeßling is your girl. Simone Laudehr (M) 8.7m vs Sweden Laudehr is another player who did not feature vs. Costa Rica but was very dangerous in the first two matches. She's versatile, comfortable on both flanks and looks composed in one-on-one situations. Having won seven fouls so far this campaign, she's what you'd refer to as a 'foul magnet'. With Mittag and co. sniffing around the box, she is very likely to pick up an assist or even grab a goal herself. Sofia Jakobsson (M) 8.7m vs Germany If you are planning to include a player with low ownership but with decent point potential then Jakobsson could fit the bill. Sweden were second best for the majority of their match vs. Australia, but Jakobsson managed to spark the contest into life with her cracking individual goal. She is capable of creating something out of nothing which makes her great differential material for your daily fantasy football team.

CHINA PR VS CAMEROON - PLAYER TIPS

Gabrielle Onguene (F) 7.4m vs. China PR After her outstanding performance vs. Switzerland to help secure Cameroon's place in the last 16, she will no doubt be drafted into many teams. Onguene's pace is a real threat and combined with her agility, China's fullbacks will be under constant pressure. She's contributed two goals and two assists so far this campaign and will be desperate keep her team's great run of form going. She's the popular option, so like Mittag, either so either choose her or prepare to be left behind. Wang Lisi (M) 6.7m vs. Cameroon Wang Lisi has somehow managed to stay under the daily fantasy football radar despite scoring in back-to-back games. China play with a physical CF (Wang Shanshan), giving Lisi freedom to play off and around her. The right midfielder has great upper body strength and when left one-on-one she is capable of punishing fullbacks. If you're backing China for the victory then Wang Lisi is a must buy. Gaelle Enganamouit (F) 6.8m vs China PR On her day she can be absolutely unstoppable. A powerful player who often pops up in the right position at the right time. She kicked off the tournament on fire with a hat trick vs. Ecuador, but has relatively quiet ever since. Enganamouit always enjoys a physical battle as proven by her nine fouls conceded and four won. She's a bit of a gamble, but with eight shots on target so far she could be worth a punt incase she re-finds her early tournament form. Madeleine Ngono Mani (F) 7.3m vs China PR Ngono has played an influential part in Cameroon's push into the play offs, regardless of the fact she has mainly been used as an impact sub. After coming off the bench to score the winner vs. Switzerland surely she has done enough to feature from the off. Ngono has looked fierce in front of goal and having tallied up five shots on target and two goals from the bench, who knows what she's capable of given a start?!
