We must congratulate Wayne Rooney on becoming England's all time leading goal scorer but seriously Wayne you're letting a lot of teams down so start scoring in the Premier League please! Clean Sheet Potential

The bookies across the country are indicating that, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Southampton and Manchester United are the five most likely teams to keep clean sheets this weekend. The likes of West Ham, Tottenham and Leicester come in at joint sixth. With that in mind you could certainly do a lot worse than just selecting defenders from the above teams.

Goalkeeper Tips

Manchester City are yet to concede a goal so far this season and their defence is starting to look more organised and stubborn that last season. The man in between the sticks Joe Hart (FPL:5.6m, Mondogoal:9.6m, FantasyBet:5.5m) has been on fine form for club and country this season and is yet to pick the ball out from his net for either. City face a difficult game this week when they travel to an entertaining Crystal Palace side who put two past Chelsea before the international break. This will probably be Hart's toughest outing yet and the English keeper is going to need to be on top form to keep another clean sheet. Palace are going to be peppering his goal which will give Hart the perfect chance for more bonus points. The next keeper is Petr Cech (FPL:5.5m, Mondogoal:8.7m, FantasyBet:5.5m) of Arsenal, Cech didn't enjoy the best of starts to his Arsenal career with two mistakes coming in his debut game against West Ham. He soon found his feet and kept back to back clean sheets against Liverpool and Newcastle. This weekend Arsenal host Stoke City at home a game you'd expect Arsenal both to win and keep a clean sheet. There is no doubt that Cech is the number 1 keeper at Arsenal and Arsene Wenger truly trusts the veteran keeper. Thibaut Courtois is expected to be out for ‘quite a long time' meaning summer signing Asmir Begovic (FPL:5.0m, Mondogoal:6.5m, FantasyBet:5.0m) is going to get a decent run in the side. The Bosnian keeper was very impressive in the 3-0 defeat to Manchester City making save after save but his guard eventually was broken. Everton away is a very tough fixture for Chelsea, they conceded three there last season but expect to see the Chelsea defend reshuffled and Branislav Ivanovic to drop to the bench. This should leave the defence a little more organised and structured after a string of poor performances from the Serbian. Begovic will come at a cheap price due to the fact he was meant to be a backup. Completing the list is Southampton's Maarten Stekelenburg (FPL:5.0m, Mondogoal:3.9m, FantasyBet:5.0m) the Dutch keeper has a poor start to his Saints' career conceding five in two league games. He soon found his form and has kept clean sheets in both gameweek 3 and gameweek four against Watford and Norwich respectively. Steklenburg will be looking to keep a third this weekend away to West Brom, who although they beat Stoke away last time out it did come against nine men.

Defender Tips

When Luke Shaw (FPL:5.6m, Mondogoal:7.6m, FantasyBet:5.5m) signed for £30 million last season many questioned the deal. A year later and it looked to be a wasted transfer but the left back has changed peoples opinions this season. Shaw has been one of United's best players, a constant threat down the left wing Shaw also has a pinpoint delivery that will see him pick up assists. His form saw him called up to the England squad where he started both games against San Marino and Switzerland. Manchester United face Liverpool this weekend one of the biggest games in the Premier League campaign. Liverpool haven't looked the best of sides going forward this year so expect to see Shaw bombing down the wing and putting balls in for the likes of Wayne Rooney and Memphis. Hector Bellerin (FPL:5.5m, Mondogoal:8.4m, FantasyBet:5.5m) broke into the Arsenal team last season and is showing fantastic maturity for a 20-year-old. He is one of the quickest players in the league enabling Arsenal to use him as an outlet down the right wing. His goals and assist numbers were not the best last season but its important to note that it was his first season in the Premier League as a 19-year-old. Stoke City have not had their usual stubborn, tight defence this season. This should benefit Bellerin who will be causing them all sorts of problems. No one saw West Ham humiliating Liverpool 3-0 coming. In that game Aaron Cresswell (FPL:5.5m, Mondogoal:8.0m, FantasyBet:5.5m) picked up 12 points. The Englishman had a shaky start to the season and was at fault for a few goals this season. Something seemed to click in the left back before the Liverpool game and he returned to the form that saw him pick up the Hammers of the Year award last season. Cresswell will come up against Newcastle on Monday night and will be looking to add to his assist tally and possibly grab his first goal of the season. Another left back for you to consider is Jeffrey Schlupp (FPL:5.0m, Mondogoal:7.6m, FantasyBet:5.0m) of Leicester City. Schlupp has fought off competition from new signing Christian Fuchs for the left back spot and has one assist to his name this season. Leicester have added to their attacking options over the summer and Jamie Vardy seems to be getting better and better. Schlupp is not only a provider but can also score goals for himself, scoring three last season. Matching up against Aston Villa at home is a favourable fixture for the Leicester defence. Finally, what would a Daily Fantasy Football Tips article be without Vincent Kompany? (FPL:6.4m, Mondogoal:6.4m, FantasyBet:6.5m) The Manchester City captain has been in supreme form this season and already has two goals to his name this season. The 2014-15 campaign was not the best for the Belgian defender and many had written him off. As s the case with Kompany he's come back to prove people wrong. He currently has two goals to his name both headers from corners, but what more would you expect? He keeps clean sheets and is a real threat from set pieces and a fantastic player to have in your side.

Attacking Potential

Another look at the bookies odds suggests that Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham, Manchester United and Leicester are the five most likely teams to score this weekend. With this in mind it wouldn't be the worst idea to base your attack around these players.

Midfielder Tips

The first Barclays Player of the Month award was won up by Swansea's Andre Ayew (FPL:7.2m, Mondogoal:13.5m, FantasyBet:7.0m) The summer signing has been in fantastic form this season picking up three goals and one assist in the opening four games. The Ghanaian ran the Manchester United defence ragged and caused them all types of problems. His pace and flair is a breath of fresh air to the Swansea side and with the form of striker Bafetimbi Gomis it boosts Ayew's chance to pick up assists. The Watford defence are not yet organised or structured enough to keep a clean sheet as of yet this gives Ayew the perfect chance to continue his form. Now whilst the bookies are suggesting that Manchester City will keep a clean sheet this weekend, if you'd like a Crystal Palace player in your side you should consider Bakary Sako (FPL:5.5m, Mondogoal:8.3m, FantasyBet:5.5m) He has only played in two games so far this season scoring in both of them. Sako adds more pace to the Palace attack and against Chelsea was used as a striker causing Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma all sorts of problems. His pace may once again be needed to get in behind the City defence and create chances. Santi Carzola (FPL:8.3m, Mondogoal:14.7m, FantasyBet:8.5m) is yet to really produce this season but with Arsenal welcoming Stoke this weekend the little Spaniard will be looking to change that. Last season he picked up 11 assists and scored seven goals, a few of which came from penalties. It's worth remembering just how good Carzola is and he may just be looking to find his feet after the summer break. A main issue with why he is yet to pick up an assist is the form of Oliver Giroud who is missing chance after chance upfront for Arsenal. Wenger gave his striker a vote of confidence this summer when he chose not to sign a striker. Maybe this will kick the Frenchman into gear and help Carzola start his assist tally for the season. Nathan Redmond (FPL:5.5m, Mondogoal:7.2m, FantasyBet:5.5m) has probably been Norwich's best player so far this season. The winger tore apart defences in the Championship and has continued his form into the Premier League. In the opening four games he has scored two goals and assisted one. He is a real danger man for Norwich and has pace and tricky in abundance. This weekend he will come up against a Bournemouth side who have conceded six goals so far this season. Their defence is not yet capable of holding out teams something Redmond will look to expose.

Forward Tips

Harry Kane (FPL:9.4m, Mondogoal:9.2m, FantasyBet:9.5m) is yet to find his goal scoring boots from last season, but he had a breakthrough during the international break when he scored two goals in two games. This weekend Spurs travel to Sunderland, surely this is the weekend Kane opens his goal scoring account? Sunderland have been all over the place at the back so far this season conceding 10 goals in four games – the most in the league. Watch out Sunderland there's a Harrykane coming. Alexis Sanchez (FPL:11.0m, Mondogoal:10.0m, FantasyBet:11.0m) is another player who also yet to find his form from last season. Sanchez was electric last year and seemed to create magic out of nothing. This season he is yet to score or assist, this could be due to partaking in the Copa America and being hit by fatigue? This is no longer an excuse for the Chilean as he's had long enough to recover. Expect to see him testing Jack Butland on numerous occasions and showing his form of last year. West Brom's record signing Salomon Rondon (FPL:7.0m, Mondogoal:6.2m, FantasyBet:7.0m) looks to have settled right into the side. He's scored one and assisted one in his three appearances this season. Rondon is a real powerful striker but he also posses pace to cause opposition defenders problems. Most notably getting in behind the Chelsea defence and getting John Terry sent off. He comes in at a very cheap price and could be a good differential for you to consider in Gameweek 5.
