Welcome to another Serie A Fantasy Football article. Tom Daniels picks out his top 5 fantasy tips for Gameweek 32.
Gameweek 31 was Juventus's week as they boast a 6 point lead at the top of the Serie A. A weakened Juventus team needed the help of Mandzukic to claim a precious win against Empoli. Napoli however where unable to secure a victory and lost 3-1 to Udinese. Two goals from Burno Fernandes and a goal from Thereau where enough to topple the title chases in what many believe to be the shock of the season. There was also dram at the bottom of the table as the ultimate underdogs Verona managed a 1-0 victory over Bologna. The result now puts Verona 6 points off safety and has given fans a lifeline in what coupe be a memorable Serie A season. Elsewhere both Milan sides lost in what could also be seen as a shock as AC Milan lost to Atalanta and Inter Milan where beaten by Torino. Fiorentina where held by Sampdoria 1-1 and due to Roma's 4-1 demolition of Lazio it leaves a 7 point cap between 3
rd and 4
th.

Juventus to outshine AC Milan.
Juventus vs AC Milan is a match of two eras. The Era that was with AC Milan vs the Era that is now with Juventus. Juventus currently sit at the top of the Serie A with 6 points of 2
nd place Napoli while AC Milan are 6
th, 6 points of 5
th place Inter Milan. Even with Chiellini out again with an injury this Juventus side should have enough in them to beat an average AC Milan team. We recommend that
Mario Mandzukic (£7.9m) be the man you should put in your team if you feel that Juventus will win. The former Atletico Madrid striker has found it hard to secure a place in the first team at Juventus, but his goal against Empoli (his 7
th of the season) might be the motivation that drives Mandzukic to stealing the show against AC Milan. At a fairly cheap price the striker could prove to be a bargain if he delivers in what is a highly anticipated tie at the San Siro.
It may also be wise to add
Gianluigi Buffon (£10.2m) as the Italian Legend kept yet another clean sheet against Empoli. The dependability of Buffon is unbelievable however it is a risk putting him in net against an AC Milan side that can score goals. If the Juventus captain can keep the likes of
Bonaventura (£11.1m) and
Bacca (£8.6m) under control then the keeper is a certain buy for any fantasy team.
Sansone to shine against Genoa.
Nicola Sansone (£7.9m) has really started to shine as of late. He hasn't shown as much consistency as what is being hoped but when he is in the zone he can be unplayable. Surprisingly Sansone has the same amount of goals and assists as fellow partner
Domenico Berardi (£10.2m) with 6 goals and 4 assists. Last game week against Carpi Sansone managed to get 1 goal and 2 assists in their 3-1 win showing the quality the 24 year old has. Their opponents this time are genoa, a team that has been languishing in the middle of the table recently. Genoa have not really got anything to play for this match and so commitment might be an issue for the side sitting in 10
th. This could give Sansone the golden opportunity to pass Beradi in the stats and prove to the fans that they don't always need the star Sassuolo man.
Napoli to dominate Verona.
Verona have had somewhat of a revival as of late claiming 4 points in 3 games. However not only are they facing a Napoli side that has more quality in every position, but also a Napoli side that knows they have to win every game to have a chance at the Serie A title.
Gonzala Higuaín's (£16.8m) absence in the game could be the only stumbling block to what seems like a routine victory Napoli. However with this in mine we recommend that
Manolo Gabbiadini (£9.1m) is the man you stick up front. Gabbiadini has largely been used as a sub this season due to Higuaín's unbelievable form, but now the striker has a real chance to cement a lace in not only the Napoli team but the Italy team as well. Gabbiadini has played just over 300 minutes of football for Napoli but when given the chance he has performed for his side scoring 2 goals and creating 3 assists. It may also be wise to invest in
Faouzi Ghoulam (£9.5m) as the defender is highly likely to keep a clean sheet. Ghoulam has also been a provider for goals though the season assisting 3 goals.
Carpi to scrape a draw.
It looks likely that carpi, Palermo, Frosinone and Verona are the teams fighting for their survival this season, and Carpi will use that as motivation to secure a very good point away from home. Last week Carpi where outclassed by a good Sassuolo side but previous to that they had won 2 games in a row. Chievo on the other hand have won their last two games and are slowly pushing up the table with the dream of a European place. So in a game that both teams won't want to lose it seems that a draw may be the smartest prediction for the game. So for this game we recommend that
Gaetano Latizia (£8.5m) holds a spot in your defence. The Carpi defender has been Carpi's best performing player with a total of 176.94 points collected and with the feeling that this match isn't going to be full of goals he may be the reliable defender in your backline.
Udinese to beat Sampdoria.
Udinese's victory over Napoli has effectively taken them out of the relegation battle. However they could send Sampdoria into one if they are victorious over them on Sunday. Both teams perhaps shocked many people after claiming results against the top 4. While Udinese's 3-1 victory over Napoli was a highlight it's important to note that Sampdoria held Fiorentina 1-1. Sampdoria's main weakness has always been that they cannot stop goals from going in and that could prove to be the pivotal blow in this match. We recommend that
Cyril Théréau (£9.3m) should be in your team and that he will carry on from his outstanding performance last match. The French striker has scored 9 goals and had 3 assists this season making him the top goal scorer and surprisingly the top assister. So it really shows that if Théréau performs then this result should seem easier than expected. The risk with this fixture is that both teams are in a very similar position (Udinese are 15
th and Sampdoria 16
th) and so the result could go either way. But if you want to take a gamble then Cyril Théréau is the guy to gamble on.
