Two GW36 Differentials Worth a Punt!

Ryan Babel

Fulham Midfielder 5.5m 0.7% TSB Fixtures: Cardiff (H), Wolves (a), Newcastle (H) Points per game: 4.8 Already relegated, nothing to play for, bottom of the table; not worth it right? Well Fulham's form has picked up since their relegation was confirmed with some impressive results flipping the script on a few matches. Key to this has been both Mitrovic finding the net and Babel keeping up his goal contribution week on week. 8 Goal contributions in 12 gameweeks for a relegations side is impressive and although the Dutch international has only completed 90 mins 4 times he has appeared for over 60 mins in every gameweek but his first. With only 12 gameweeks in the league it is impressive how he has accrued over 60 points, and collated an average of 4.8 points per game, which for reference is better than Eriksen, Firmino and Fraser! Fulham have around 1 xG for each of their remaining 3 games but with end of the season results usually going against the form table and Babel wanting to put himself in the shop window we could see higher returns for the journeyman.

Wilfried Zaha

Crystal Palace Striker 6.8m 12.8% TSB Fixtures: Everton (H), Cardiff (A), Bournemouth (H) Points per game: 4.0 Zaha is seemingly out the door at Palace, with what appears like their blessing (if they can bring in the huge windfall his transfer should bring). This means that Zaha is now playing for not only a Crystal Palace team who have Premier League safety assured, but is in the shop window for himself. Averaging 4 points per game is a good return for the 6.8m priced asset, his consistency, 9 goals and 8 assists, 12 bonus points and food fixtures make him an excellent makeweight for those managers looking to bring in Salah ahead of his home fixture vs Huddersfield this weekend. On his consistency we can also note that Wilf has completed 90 minutes in 28 games out of 35 this season, which is sensational consistency in an FPL asset. He has also not gone more than 3 games in a row without returning attacking points and has not started as a substitute once. Until Next Time... Make Good Choices!
