Jonjo Shelvey
5.3m
Newcastle
Brighton, Southampton, Watford
Newcastle are about to begin one of the best fixture runs this season, and while most eyes will be on their defensive assets its worth having a look at their limited attacking ones. Jonjo Shelvey has only featured in 5 games this season, due to injury, but has featured in 90 mins consecutively for the last 3 games. In his 5 games this season he has created 13 chances and registered an assist, he has delivered 7 successful crosses and has attempted 5 shots on goal. The fixture list Newcastle face is favourable with;
Brighton, Southampton, Watford, Bournemouth, Burnley, West Ham, Everton, Wolves, Huddersfield and Fulham, taking the magpies to Christmas day. Lots of assets could be useful during this spell, from Dubravka to Yedlin to Kennedy. But Shelvey's potential for long range goals in more condensed games with play less on the break and more stationed on the edge of each others boxes, could see the Englishman get a goal or two alongside a few assists.
J. Murphy

Cardiff
Fulham, Liverpool, Leicester
0.2% TSB
Fulham, Cardiff's opponents at the weekend, have given up the most big chances in the league (25). Murphy has had a hand in every goal while he has been on the pitch for Cardiff and within that he has had 4 shots on target and created 5 chances for his team mates. More interestingly however, is the young Englishman's baseline bonus points (25) which sit higher than the BPS baseline of Arnautovic and Lacazette. Cardiff have 3 home games in the next 4; coming up against Fulham, Leicester and Brighton.
Ben Davies

Spurs
West Ham, Manchester City, Wolves
2.4% TSB
Spurs face up against West Ham next, before a tough run. Rose's injury has given license to Ben Davies to try and stake his way back into the PL team. With a sensational 0.4m drop, Ben Davies now sits at 5.6m and intriguingly should face up against the Hammers who have given up a staggering 66 chances from wide positions, the 3rd worst in the league behind Burnley and Fulham. Davies who in the opening few games of the season was one of the most creative players in the league faces a difficult run after West Ham before Spurs' fixtures clear for a lovely run in December. If he can stake his claim as a first choice attacking full back he could be an excellent pick and could see a significant price rise. This is an investors pick with a good initial fixture.
Junior Stanislas
6.0m
Bournemouth
Southampton, Fulham, Manchester United
0.1% TSB
Stanislas hasn't got that much data behind him due to his injured start to the season. However, the ex-West Ham youngster has had an interesting FPL career. Never featuring more than 15 games in a season, he has still managed to rack up 26 Goal contributions across the last 3 seasons, when you take into account the minimal amounts of game time he has seen due to injury you see a pattern of a player who rewards FPL managers at a good price. On Free-Kicks, Corners and as we have already seen; Penalties, Stanislas seems involved heavily when he plays. With in form Fraser on one wing, and King and Wilson also contributing to goals, Stanislas has to compete with Brooks (5.0m) who has deputised in his place. What Stanislas offers, with his set pieces however is a bit of a guarantee in the currently brilliant Bournemouth attacking returns. Bournemouth have games against Southampton and Fulham in the next two who sit respectively 2nd and 1st in the ‘big chances against' statistic.
