Getting in early on this one. Solanke should be moving to Crystal Palace in the coming days and should it all move along smoothly we will see a 4.7m forward in FPL pushing for a real chance of starting most games. It all depends on the positioning of Zaha and the return potentially of Christian Benteke but Solanke will not be picking this move if he wasn't guaranteed of some gametime from Roy Hodgson, who will know Solanke from his time working in the England set up.

We do not have a huge amount of data on Solanke due to this lack of first team activity for both Chelsea and Liverpool but the striker has been potent in England junior levels. 68 appearances at all levels for England has seen a return of 35 goals in that time, so the Basingstoke born striker can convert chances into goals, but how this translates to real FPL points is really yet to be tested. But at such a good price point, Solanke could see price rises and be a good enabler to allow us to really fund those premium options.

David Button

I had 9 points on my bench this week courtesy of David Button who as suspected claimed the starting spot in the absence of Matt Ryan to the AFC Asia Cup. Apart from one spill from a cross the ex-Fulham keeper did well in his first game in a year, this saw Button rack up a good score. Again at a bargain price the value in this player again is in his enabling cost, but he should play and could score some points. A difficult run of fixtures could act as a negative while Brighton fill up the 5-6 GWs Ryan could be gone for, but save points could become and option and the odd clean sheet could see big scores like the 9 we saw this weekend.

Tom Heaton

Another low budget player, exciting huh?! But Heaton played his first Premier League game of the season against West Ham and put in a star turn, making a key save from Andy Carroll which went along way to secure the points for Burnley. Whether he keeps his place or not is the big question, but the club captain has waited patiently in the wings ever since he played up his last games in cup fixtures. It is common knowledge that with Pope, Hart and Heaton all on the wage bill Sean Dyche will look to get a healthy fee for one either in January or the summer, especially with Pope stepping up his recovery from his shoulder injury sustained against Aberdeen in August. Whether this performance was putting Heaton in the shop window or giving the captain a chance to stake his claim. Either way, Burnley responded to whatever changes were made and put in a fantastic defensive performance against an inform Hammers team. Heaton has been a great pick in FPL in previous years and with his reduced price could provide an interesting option as Burnley face a few fixtures where they should expect a chance at clean sheets.
