GW3 - Three Differential Picks going Under the Radar

After a blockbuster 106 points putting myself into the top 15k in the world in GW1, I followed it up with a much poorer score in GW2 creeping myself out of the top 100k. But with 2 transfers available and Wildcards being played all over the place I am here to look at 3 players whose appeal may have slipped beyond our notice while we stare at KDB, Mane, Pukki and Martial.

Çaglar Söyüncü

Have to shout out FPL Crate Digger (on twitter) for this one. Leicester, along with Wolves, posted fantastic defensive underlying stats but followed it up with bad FPL returns by conceding the odd goal in every match. Leaving both Wolves and Leicester as excellent potential if they can sure up their defences and both showed potential of this in GW1 against each other and then both limiting top 6 teams to a singular goal each in GW2.

With this in mind and Harry Maguire's sale to Manchester United Çaglar Söyüncü has suddenly become an option at a top 8 team at only 4.5m. Added on top of this Leicester's fixtures in the long run look very appealing;

Hueng Min Son

Well this one is slipping under the radar! Missing the first two games due to his rank plummeting red card against Bournemouth at the tail end of last season, the South Korean is now eligible ahead of Tottenham's great fixture list from here on.

20 goal contributions in both of the last 2 season and 23 the year before from no more than 2300 minutes in a particular season shows that when Son plays, he contributes goals. Crucially at 9.5m he is a good option as an alternative to the 1.5m more expensive Harry Kane who other than his 5 minute brace against Aston Villa has flattered to deceive so far this season.

Yerry Mina

Anyone that followed my articles last season will know how much I rated this player, including, for some reason, starting him despite his (what I thought was going to be small injury) injury at the start of his last season. Suffice to sat his place in my team was a disaster as the Colombian didn't feature for months with a troublesome foot injury and Zouma's loan place at the team kept Mina out of the team. His phenomenal goal-scoring records (particularly at International level) going into his Everton career where mouth watering 23 career goals at only 23 years old, he failed to convert that threat into real FPL success last season.  However, we now sit with Everton as one of the best defensive sides in the league over the last 6 months and a center back pairing of Keane and Mina with Zouma returning to Chelsea on loan. Mina has played both games at the start of the season, bringing in BPS in both games alongside his clean sheets. If he can add a goal or further goal threat to his good defensive stats he could force his way into FPL managers plans, especially with Everton's good fixtures and form.
