Fantasy Premier League Differential Tips For Gameweek 37

Share post on:
Welcome back to another Fantasy Premier League differential article. This week Callum Read looks at three FPL midfielders who all have a DGW this GW.. This article will compare the last four Premier League performances of Eden Hazard (£10.8m), Mark Noble (£5.6m) and Nathan Redmond (£5.0m.) Please note - if the player has a Double Gameweek they will be classed as two separate Premier League fixtures. We are going to look at recent FPL points, fixture difficulty, goal scoring form and creativity to reach a verdict on which midfielder you should consider for this Gameweek. Eden Hazard has been classed as a differential player after we removed his "dead team" ownership used the wonderful www.fantasyfootballfix.com.

Recent Form:

# Player Mins Pts
1 Noble 332 34
2 Hazard 135 24
3 Redmond 166 5
Mark Noble leads both the minutes played and points scored tables, his incredible 34 points in his last four games puts him 10 points head of the next closest player Eden Hazard. Speaking of Chelsea's Belgian midfielder, where has this level of performance been all season? Last years PFA Player of the Year has scored three goals in his last four games having gone 34 GW's without one. His 24 points in just 135 minutes of football is very impressive. It's looking very grim for Norwich City, they really need to up their performance levels if they are to stay in the Premier League, having two fixtures at home could be exactly what the Canaries and Nathan Redmond need to put together a relegation survival bid.

Opposition Difficulty:

BCC = Big Chances Conceded, GC = Goals Conceded.
# Player Vs. BCC GC
1 Noble SWA (H), MNU (H) 16 12
2 Redmond MNU (H), WAT (H) 16 10
3 Hazard SUN (A), LIV (A) 9 9
Mark Noble and West Ham have the easiest fixtures on paper out of the three players, it's also worth bearing in mind that Swansea are going to field a "weaker" team against the Hammers, adding to Nobles chances of scoring or assisting. The fixture against Manchester United is the last Premier League game at Upton Park and club captain Noble will be determined to leave his mark on the stadium. Norwich have two fixtures at Carrow Road, which will without doubt help them towards staying in the Premier League. Watford have conceded 11 of the 16 big chances conceded between the Hornets and Manchester United making this fixture in particular an eye catching one. Eden Hazard has the hardest fixtures as he faces both Sunderland and Liverpool away from home but the Chelsea man is in hot form. Liverpool may also field a rotated side as they look ahead to the Europa League final.

Goalscoring Form:

BC = Big Chances, CC = Chances Created, GS  = Goals Scored.
# Player BC CC GS
1 Noble 3 6 4
2 Hazard 1 5 3
3 Redmond 0 3 0
Mark Noble has been the most creative of the trio as well as scoring the most goals (4) in the shape of two braces in consecutive fixtures. The English midfielder is also West Ham's penalty taker adding to his scoring potential. Despite only playing 135 minutes in his last four Premier League games, Eden Hazard has created five chances and scored three goals. Against both Bournemouth and Tottenham the winger has looked back to his best and could terrorise Sunderland and Liverpool if given the chance. Nathan Redmond is posting very disappointing numbers, further enforcing the fact he is very much a punt for Gameweek 37.

The Verdict:

It's hard not to suggest Eden Hazard, his form is very favourable and his recent performances have been more like the Hazard we saw last season, although expensive you are buying a player who is looking to prove a point in his remaining games, it's a risk - but one worth taking. We'd do our best to convince you, but telling you to pick Mark Noble over some of the other West Ham players is going to be a hard job. He's got form going with him and has favourable fixtures, but other Hammers' players look a lot more appealing. Finally it's Redmond. If you're wanting to take a risk in the final 2 GW's then throw him into your team and ride to rollercoaster, otherwise - forget about it.
