FPL Differential Tips
Shane Long (5.7m) vs Norwich (A) 0.7% Ownership
Long burst back onto the scene during Southampton's Boxing Day win over Arsenal. The Irish striker put in a gritty performance and grabbed himself two goals in the process. In the 2-1 loss against West Ham the forward failed to register a goal but we still believe he is a great differential striker.
Graziano Pellè is expected to recover from his knee injury this week, but it would be surprising to see Koeman put the Italian straight back into the first team considering the impressive form of Shane Long.
If you're a stats man then how about this; Shane Long has scored six goals in his last nine appearances against Norwich City.
Michail Antonio (5.2m) vs Liverpool (H) 0.0% Ownership
West Ham's last two performances haven't set the world alight, but they did show great fight to beat Southampton from 1-0 down in Gameweek 19. Although the team as a whole hasn't been performing to the best of their ability summer signing Antonio certainly has.
The winger registered his first assist of the season in the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa on Boxing Day before doubling his assist tally for the season last time out against Southampton. He also inadvertently scored a header after Cuco Martina's attempted clearance bounced off the head of a prone Antonio before lobbing Maarten Stekelenburg.
The West Ham wide man is quick and powerful and also has a few tricks in his lockers to beat defenders. He will be hoping to continue his form against a tough Liverpool outfit.
Erik Lamela (6.8m) vs Everton (A) 1.0% Ownership
Goodison Park is the home of goals at the moment with 26 being scored in the last five games. This weekend Tottenham will be the guests in Merseyside with Mauricio Pochettino's side looking to record their fourth win on the bounce.
Lamela has been hot and cold this season but his recent form has certainly been the former; in his last three games the Argentine has two assists and one goal. He is an incredibly gifted player who doesn't show his talent enough, there is magic within his boots that can provide something special at any given moment and with the amount of goals Everton are currently shipping at home, Lamela has a great chance of continuing his form both via scoring and assisting.
Nathan Redmond (MondoGoal; 8.2m) vs Southampton (H)
Redmond started the season like a house on fire grabbing two goals in his first two games but them he fizzled out. In recent weeks he's been getting back to hi best and looks a great differential for MondoGoal players.
Last week the Norwich winger scored 9.55 points the game before was a measly 2.75 points but during the win over Manchester United his score was 8.45. He certainly has the potential to be a high scorer on
MondoGoal; he's quick and has great footwork and delivery. He's also not shy of shooting at goal, which of course on
MondoGoal equates to points.
Ashley Williams (FantasyBet; 4.5m) vs Manchester Untied (A)
Our FantasyBet this weekend is a little bit of a punt. Manchester United are in their worst run of form since Louis van Gaal took over. They haven't won a Premier League game since Gameweek 13 when a late Troy Deeney own goal secured the Red Devils three points. Since then they've suffered defeats to Bournemouth, Norwich and Stoke City.
Manchester United have only scored two goals in their last five games and are playing their best striker as a left winger. Swansea meanwhile have had a turn around in their fortunes and are unbeaten in their last three games (W1 D2) keeping three clean sheets in the process. At the heart of their defence is captain Ashley Williams who at 4.5m is a risky but affordable differential tip for Gameweek 20 over on
FantasyBet.
