Differential Tips Gameweek 9 Fantasy Premier League Tips

Welcome back to another Fantasy Premier League Tips article, it's been a while since we said that! During the international break a handful of players picked up injuries that will go on to affect a number of FPL sides. The big one has to be the injury Sergio Aguero picked up; the Argentine striker is a FPL nightmare. One week he scores five goals and if you've triple captained him it's a fantastic day the next he's injured and out for a month. We aim to bring you a list of differential players that you could consider for your teams.
Wilfried Bony 8.2m (0.9% Ownership) Things are about to get a whole lot better for the Ivorian striker. With Aguero out injured for what looks to be a month Bony is going to get a run of games in the side. This weekend he will come up against Bournemouth at home, with no disrespect to Bournemouth fans this is one of the easier Premier League fixtures. He will no doubt see a lot of chances come his way as new signing Kevin De Bruyne seems to be getting better and better. Without doubt Bony will be hoping to hit the ground running come Saturday. Theo Walcott 8.6m (4.9% Ownership) Theo Walcott is another FPL nightmare. One week he plays upfront and bags a goal the next he is relegated to midfield and has less of an impact on the game. Things are slowly changing for the Arsenal man though and so far this season he has played the majority of his games upfront and without doubt has paid back the faith Arsene Wenger showed in him. He's currently got two goals and two assists in the league whilst also picking up a goal during England's 2-0 win over Estonia. In all competitions this season he has four goals and four assists in nine games as a striker, these are very impressive numbers and ones that should increase this weekend against Watford. Of course he is also an OOP (Out of Position Player) meaning if he does score as a striker you will get more points that you should as he is listed as a midfielder. Asmir Begovic 5.0m (2.2% Ownership) It's fair to say that Chelsea have had a very slow start to the season, in fact it's been worse than slow. They've already lost more games than they did through the whole of last season and their usually reliable defence has conceded 17 goals in eight games only Sunderland have conceded more. Something needed to change at Chelsea and the international break came at the perfect time for Jose Mourinho, he's had time to sit back and analyse the situation. One of their standout performers this season has been Asmir Begovic. Initially it was thought the former Stoke man was coming in as a second choice but an injury to Thibaut Courtois has given the Bosnian a run of games. Despite conceding a hatful of goals the Chelsea shot stopper has looked a fine acquisition and will be looking to keep a clean sheet this against Aston Villa, a side that have only scored eight goals this season. Marko Arnautovic 6.0m (0.5% Ownership) Stoke struggled to find their feet this season but have now recorded back to back wins against Bournemouth and Aston Villa. The Potters' will be looking to extend that run against Swansea this weekend. Facing up against Gary Monk's side is always a difficult prospect but his team are without a win in four games. Stoke's Austrian winger is now hitting a good run of form in the 1-0 win over Aston Villa he picked up his second goal of the season whilst he also has two assists. In the international break for Austria he also picked up two goals in the wins over Montenegro and Liechtenstein. Can he continue his form going into gameweek 9? We will wait and see. Kurt Zouma 5.5m (2.9% Ownership) Our final tip comes in the shape of Chelsea's French defender. With Branislav Ivanovic out injured, many believed that Baba Rahman would finally get a run in the side us included. The noises coming out of Chelsea this week suggest that this wont be the case and that Kurt Zouma is going to play as a fullback against Aston Villa. This makes for interesting reading and brings up a lot of questions. If you're willing to take the risk on Zouma playing the next three, four or possibly five games as a fullback get him in your side. The selection comes with some what of a risk factor but Zouma seems to be improving with each passing minute on the pitch and adds a goal threat to Chelsea from set pieces.
