Differential Tips Gameweek 5 Fantasy Premier League Tips

Well if you followed one of our tips from Gameweek 4 you would have reaped the rewards. A certain Scott Sinclair picked up 14 points in Aston Villa's 2-2 draw with Sunderland scoring two goals in the process. Whilst Bacary Sagna and Nacho Monreal kept a clean sheet, and Salomón Rondon scored another goal we did have some duff tips in the shape of Kurt Zouma and Xherdan Shaqiri who both had poor Gameweeks - apologies for that. That's the past dealt with lets look towards Gameweek 5. YES, domestic football is back and with it comes another Fantasy Premier League Tips article. Troy Deeney 5.4m (4.0% Ownership) The Watford striker is without a goal so far this season and currently sits on an embarrassing 10 points. Things need to change for Deeney if he's going to help Watford stay in the Premier League and with Watford signing a couple of attacking players he may feel his position is in threat and finally start finding the back of the net. Watford face Swansea this weekend, which is a difficult game but the Swansea defence haven't exactly been keeping clean sheets every week. Deeney will have the 12th man behind him and has had the international break to prepare himself for this game. Saido Mane 7.8m (4.0% Ownership) A transfer rumour that shocked many this summer was Saido Mane to Manchester United, whilst Mane is a fantastic player it mainly raised eyebrows due to United's failure to capture Pedro. The winger scored 137 points last season in what was a very entertaining Southampton side. Last gameweek he picked up 11 points in a 3-0 win over Norwich. Mane has finally found his feet this season and will be looking to add to his points tally away to West Brom this weekend whose side whose defence doesn't look settled as of yet. Cheikhou Kouyate 5.6m (4.7% Ownership) West Ham are probably the most inconsistent side in the Premier League at this current moment in time. They've beaten both Arsenal and Liverpool away from home but then lost to Bournemouth and Leicester at home. Kouyate himself has scored two goals and assisted one this season. This midfield powerhouse seems to have been overlooked on FPL this season, he reminds us of a cut price Yaya Toure due to his lung busting runs from midfield. He's a fantastic header of the ball and will need to turn up this weekend to help his side overcome Newcastle United. Danny Rose 5.3m (2.3% Ownership) Many believe Rose is not good enough for the Tottenham side but he's still there and many are tipping him to stay in the side for a long time. He missed the opening three games due to injury before picking up six points in a 0-0 draw against Everton. Rose is a constant danger down the left for Tottenham and with the aerial ability of Harry Kane he has a fantastic chance to pick up assists. Tottenham travel to Sunderland this weekend and will be hoping to keep a shut out. As we know with Tottenham defenders they are very unreliable and maybe that explains his low ownership if you want a defender to be rotated in and out your side then Rose could be that player. Florian Thauvin 6.5m (0.2% Ownership) The French midfielder will now be settled into the Newcastle side, he will be used to his teammates, tactics, players runs etc. He will be hoping to retain his place in the starting line up when he travels to West Ham this weekend. Thauvin already has two goals to his name in a Newcastle shirt both of which came in his first start for the club against Northampton Town in the FA Cup. Those who watched him at the game have given the attacking midfielder a lot of praise and will be hoping they will see more of that in the Premier League. As previously mentioned West Ham are not the most consistent of sides giving Thauvin the perfect chance to start his Premier League tally.
