Differential Tips Gameweek 36 - Fantasy Premier League Tips

Share post on:
The title race may be over, and two of three relegation spots filled (barring some incredible turn of footballing events for QPR and Burnley), but there's still all to play for when it comes to daily fantasy football. On those websites, the title race is never over. That's why this week, like kindly monkeys picking fleas from the backs of our fellow simians, we've hungrily rooted about in search of the tastiest array of easy-to-miss players who could make all the difference to your GW36 team. This is what we've found — these less-heralded names probably won't be in too many sides this coming weekend, but if you take the plunge, you might be very glad you did come the end of GW36… [mks_separator style="dashed" height="2"]

GAMEWEEK 36 DIFFERENTIAL TIPS

[mks_separator style="dashed" height="2"] [mks_col] [mks_one_half] Craig Gardner vs Newcastle (A) The Baggies are right back in form (as we knew they would be eventually; TP doesn't muck about) and have the highly enviable task of facing Newcastle this weekend. The Magpies have a manager in the throes of a public meltdown, barely enough available defenders for a backthree let alone four, and are frankly appalling. If ever Gardner's bursting runs from midfield and long-range shooting prowess were going to yield goals, it's this weekend. [/mks_one_half] [mks_one_half]Marc Albrighton vs Southampton (H) In superb form, and gobbling up assists faster than Jurgen Klopp is receiving job offers, Womble-alike Albrighton will be on many people's watch list this week, but we're here to urge you to put your faith in the former Villa man. They play Southampton at home and a degree of intensity seems to have gone from Saints' play — something you couldn't acuse of happening to Nigel Pearson's men. We're tipping a Leicester win, with Albrighton in a starring role. Get on the bandwagon.[/mks_one_half] [/mks_col] [mks_separator style="dashed" height="2"] [mks_col] [mks_one_half] Tom Cleverley vs West Ham (A) Forget the win ratio at Spurs, forget Christian Benteke's revival, forget even the complete turnaround in Villa's style of play — if Tactics Tim can re-calibrate Tom Cleverley from the uber-cautious, sideways-passing robot Paul Lambert created into a marauding goal-scoring midfielder, it will be his greatest achievement. Clevz has two goals in his last two games, but crucially, he seems to have a new licence to break lines and get forward a little more. Freed from his restrictive old programming, robo-Clevz could be a great option this week, with Villa at home to West Ham. [/mks_one_half] [mks_one_half]Matt Taylor vs Hull (A) Now here's a real punt; a long-shot based on nothing more than a hunch. Taylor has been in the thick of every half-decent Burnley have done in recent weeks, even if all that endeavour has resulted in precisely zero goals. He missed a penalty a few weeks back, teed Danny Ings up with a golden opportunity against West Ham, and should have scored himself. If Burnley are to finally hit the back of an opponents net at long last, we're backing Taylor — who is also very handy from set-plays — to be the man to do it. Whether he will is another matter…[/mks_one_half] [/mks_col] [mks_separator style="dashed" height="2"] Steve Harper vs Burnely (H) [mks_col] [mks_one_half] [/mks_one_half] [mks_one_half]The incredible ageless Steve Harper — hasn't he been nearly 40 for the past 10 years? — is back between the sticks for Hull and has two clean sheets in three. With the Tigers at home to low-scoring Burnley this weekend, he could be a superb low-cost option for the daily fantasy football gaffer in search of defensive options. Our only concern? Surely Burnley have to score at some point…right?[/mks_one_half] [/mks_col] fplbet daily fantasy football advert
