Jermain Defoe 5.5m (2.4% Ownership) Last weekend the veteran striker scored his 150th Premier League goal giving Sunderland a much-needed 1-0 win over Crystal Palace. Defoe can be one of the most natural finishers in the Premier League but it's fair to say his form has depleted over the last few seasons. He is going to be integral to keeping Sunderland up this season with his important late goals and hard working mindset. This weekend Sunderland welcome Stoke and will be looking to build off the back of their win on Monday night. According to those in charge of FPL the English striker has an ankle injury leaving him with a 75% chance of playing but we are confident he will be fit, with Sky Sources expecting the striker to be fit.
Troy Deeney 5.1m (2.3% Ownership) Many will argue that Odion Ighalo is Watford's main man going forward. Speak to those who watch the Hornets' week in week out and they will tell you that Deeney has had a bigger impact on the side despite his goals. Deeney has three goals and assists to his name and is also the clubs first choice penalty taker giving him an even better chance of adding to his goal scoring tally. His goal last weekend against Manchester United is no doubt going to give him confidence going into Watford's game against Aston Villa this weekend whose backline is still looking shaky even under new management.
Matt Ritchie 5.6m (1.4% Ownership) With Callum Wilson out injured and Bournemouth shipping goals for fun you wouldn't be ridiculed for thinking there is no FPL players in the Bournemouth squad capable of brining on weekly points. We believe that Matt Ritchie is a diamond in the rough and is capable of being not only a short term signing but a season long investment and a cheap one at that. He has played almost every minute of the season for Bournemouth and is their most creative player. He has two goals and two assists this season and will be looking to add to his tally against Everton this weekend. Now, yes the Merseyside club are in fantastic form and on paper this game looks like another drubbing for Eddie Howe's side BUT Ritchie has the ability to pull the rabbit out of the hat in a difficult situation.
Roberto Firmino - 8.0m (1.5% Ownership) The Liverpool midfielder is the most expensive name in our tips for this week, and his recent performances are justifying his 8.0m price tag. In the 4-1 away win over Manchester City Firmino grabbed two assists whilst also scoring his first Premier League goal, at times he was unplayable and looked a real handful for one of the most accomplished squads in the Premier League. Although he wasn't a signing by Jurgen Klopp he seems really appreciative of his ability, Klopp will also be aware of the Brazilians talent having come up against him in the Bundesliga. This weekend Liverpool face Swansea at Anfield, a game they really should be winning. Gary Monk's side are in awful form having only recorded one win in their last five games.
Manuel Lanzini - 5.4m (2.2% Ownership) We tipped the West Ham man a few weeks ago and received a little bit of stick as his team mate Dimirti Payet was in a rich vein of form at the time, unfortunately the Frenchman is now out injured and is expected to miss up to three months of the season. Lanzini looks set to become his most immediate replacement going forwards, he may not be as creative as Payet but he does bring a bit of skill and pace to the West Ham side. Last weekend against Tottenham he grabbed what was a consolation goal, but what a goal it was turning Kyle Walker inside out before a clever finish. He's got some big boots to fill but will no doubt feel he has the ability to do so. He now has four goals to his name this season this coupled with his two assists makes him an eye catching differential tip for you side(s).
