Wow. Gameweek 6 was quite the week for our captaincy options, nearly all the popular choices delivered. Our Shield, Sword, Form and Fixture selections made up the top 4 most popular picks. There were also some surprising choices ending up in the dream team including Sterling and Coutinho.GAMEWEEK 6 TOP CAPTAINS

Morata was a late addition to my personal thoughts when the news hit about Stoke's defensive crisis. The Britannia can be a tough place to go for any team but the injuries were enough to destabilise their back line. Remember to follow me on Twitter for any late news that could influence your captaincy decisions.Sterling has scored 5 goals in 5 PL appearances.
That's 1 behind Aguero, Morata & Lukaku. Equal with Vardy. 1 more than Jesus & Kane. pic.twitter.com/z0rIEAPM7P — FPL Holly (@fplholly) September 23, 2017
Here's how we did in Gameweek 6:Might go for a cheeky ©Morata then https://t.co/JLzIGHLDqA

It is worth noting that Pep's rotation caught up with us last week. Luckily, Jesus didn't feature at all so it was Vice Captain points if you went with him (make sure you give the vice captain a little bit of thought as you never know when he might be needed!) There's Champions League and Europa League matches this week. It's important to monitor who is rested and who is substituted early when considering your captain for the week ahead. We can't be absolutely sure when rotation will hit but we can make an educated guess. Here are my tips for Gameweek 7!Shield - 7 points Sword - 11 points Fixture - 13 points Punt - 6 points ♂Clueless Husband - 7 points https://t.co/ixZLeD5xUC

Shield Pick: Romelu Lukaku vs Crystal Palace (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 8/15Romelu just can't stop scoring. He's now got 6 goals in 6 starts and it looks set to continue. To be fair, us FPL players are being a bit more imaginative with out Captain Picks, and his popularity is declining. But, he's still remaining the most captained player every week and it's very difficult to look past him this week. I've tried to move my armband around a bit, as sticking it on Rom every week gets a little boring, but it will definitely be the shield for me this week. He has been so consistent and has an excellent fixture this week at home against Palace. City managed to put 5 past them last week and, given that it's so close at the top of the league table between them, United will be looking to better that 5-0 score line. It's time for United to pounce and get the upper hand with City having a tricky away game at Chelsea. Lukaku has scored 4 goals in 8 appearances against Palace and he enjoys home comforts. You know what to do right?SCOUT: It's six goals in six Gameweeks for @RomeluLukaku9 - He was the top captaincy pick with 26.9% handing him the armband#SOUMUN #FPL pic.twitter.com/VuwKvUpCUJ

Sword Pick: Harry Kane vs Huddersfield (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 8/15So you don't want to go for the boring Shield pick? Here's an alternative. Harry is up there in contention this week with an away game at Huddersfield. Spurs have been performing much better away from Wembley and Kane has scored a brace in his last two away fixtures. He's got penalties in his locker too and enjoys playing against lesser opposition. I should know, I had to watch him destroy Hull 7-1 on the last day of last season. He's had 39 shots and has hit the woodwork an incredible 5 times - leading both of those charts by a mile! Surely he can improve his conversion rate even further this week?Harry Kane's last 5 Premier League away games:

Form Pick: Sergio Agüero vs Chelsea (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 23/20There were a lot of worried managers last week when City were 3-0 up against Palace and Aguero hadn't yet found his way onto the scoresheet! Patience prevailed in the end and Sergio came good with a goal and an assist. His ownership and captaincy popularity have been increasing rapidly, and that looks set to continue. He's scored 9, 20 and 11 FPL points in his last 3 games. City have a tricky away game at Chelsea but Aguero has an excellent away record, with goals in the last 8 premier league games in which he has started. The match could go either way, but given City's current record I'd expect a Chelsea red card and the game to turn in City's favour. He's scored 10 goals and got 3 assists in 15 appearances against the Champions. He needs just one more goal to equal Eric Brook's historic record of 177 City goals, I'd imagine he will surpass that this weekend. After his 20-point haul in Gameweek 5, Sergio Aguero breaks into the top 2 selected #FPL captains for the first time this season...#FPL pic.twitter.com/cDuy5TDsRM

Fixture Pick: Alexandre Lacazette vs Brighton (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 7/10The Arsenal number 9 is back on our radar after a simple brace against West Brom. He has been confirmed as the penalty taker for the Gunners and with Welbeck out injured, his starting place seems secure (it was a concern when he didn't start against Liverpool in GW3). He's scored in every home game this season and with a favourable fixture against Brighton, I'm sure that he will continue his run of home form.Four goals in six Premier League games to date...
Alexandre Lacazette is certainly making an impression at Arsenal. pic.twitter.com/qsQwlCQ5yu — Goal (@goal) September 26, 2017
Punt Pick: Jamie Vardy vs Bournemouth (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 11/8Jamie Vardy loves a penalty doesn't he? He's been gradually chipping away under the radar this season and has now scored 5 goals. His price tag and fixture schedule make him a serious contender for our front lines and the armband this week. He would have been joint top-scorer if it hadn't been for that spectacular Mingolet penalty save and he looks like a decent contender this week. Leicester travel to Bournemouth after a good rest, with no European football for them this season. The Cherries are lying 19th in the table, have yet to keep a clean sheet and have already conceded 5 at home. I wouldn't put it past Jamie to earn himself another penalty or poach another goal! Jamie Vardy has now won more penalties (10) in the Premier League than any other player since 2015/16.
Tricky customer. pic.twitter.com/M3bcyshUTv — Squawka Football (@Squawka) September 23, 2017
Clueless Husband Pick: Mohammed Salah vs Newcastle (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 7/5Yes, he's back! Salad is looking like a mainstay in the captaincy article, my husband appears to be sticking with his health kick! There was limited enthusiasm when I informed him of the goal against Leicester but he has "decided to stick with Salah as he did well last week". I think he's managed to learn the name now too! 2.2% captained Mo last week, maybe my husband isn't clueless after all? He's nearly 1 million places ahead of me and scored 83 points in GW6! This section of the article looks here to stay for a while longer! Salah is the second highest points scorer in the midfielders and has had 23 shots on target. Will you be sticking with my clueless Husband?SCOUT: Salah opens the scoring with his 4th goal in 5 GW starts. Only 2.2% of #FPL managers have captained the Liverpool winger#LEILIV pic.twitter.com/zQD44aa3zX

Defensive "Park the Bus" Pick : Phil Jones vs Crystal Palace (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 12/1 Clean Sheet Odds: 8/15Onto a brand new pick for this week. We'll give it a trial run and see how we get on! Manchester United have the best defence in the league with 5 clean sheets from 6 games and just 2 goals conceded. This week they have an excellent home fixture against Palace, who still haven't scored in the league this season, after 540 minutes! Added to that, their star striker Benteke has been ruled out with injury! Surely a clean sheet is nailed on? Jones is the cheapest way into the United back line, has 4 bonus points so far and is second to Azpilcueta in the BPS chart. He's also got a clean card record, unlike his defensive partners. If United keep another cleanie this week then he's your best bet at picking up the bonus points. He's yet to get an attacking return, but this week could be his week. Are you going to be brave and captain a defender? Until Next Week… Good Luck! Holly. Follow Holly for more FPL insight... Follow @FPLhollyPhil Jones' game by numbers vs. Southampton:
