GW5 Captain Picks
Gameweek 4 was a real dilemma for fantasy managers trying to choose who to give the armband to. Those who went with players from last seasons top 6, other than Liverpool, were rewarded with some returns. Kane and De Bruyne finally returned a haul of points for their managers who kept faith. I'd personally decided to transfer them out, but my replacements of Pogba and Morata also delivered! If you followed my tips last week you should have had some captaincy success with the Shield and Sword Picks scoring 6 points each, and the Form Pick coming in with 5 points. In complete contrast to last week, we have some tasty fixtures this time around for the main captaincy contenders. Many of the big teams have home comforts, against lesser opposition, so you should be hoping for some decent returns. The most popular captains of GW4... #FPL pic.twitter.com/22HVLJr4DB

Shield Pick: Romelu Lukaku vs Everton(H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 7/10Lukaku's ownership continues to rise and he is now owned by almost 60% of managers. He has been the most captained player in every single gameweek and, given his current form, those statistics are set to continue. Over the last two gameweeks, 1.7 million managers have given Lukaku the armband! He has 4 goals in 4 in the Premier League and 9 goals in 6 starts for club and country this season. He is set to face his former club, Everton, at Old Trafford and will want to make a statement in a red shirt! If you are riding high in your mini leagues and want to hold your rank, then leave the armband on Romelu again this week!SCOUT: Lukaku the top captain pick for a 4th successive GW. Sword Pick: Harry Kane vs Swansea(H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 2/5We are into September and Harry has shown us that he can score goals again. The August curse has passed! Spurs have a strong fixture at home to Swansea who have looked shaky at the back despite keeping two clean sheets in their first 4 games. In this fixture last season, Harry scored a brace and could easily repeat it this time around. Kane is likely to be the 2nd highest captained player yet again this week and if you are wanting to make up ground in your mini leagues, he is a good prospect to captain!Harry Kane's game by numbers vs. Everton:

Form Pick: Álvaro Morata vs Arsenal(H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 1/1Morata has continued his excellent start to the Premier League with 3 goals and 2 assists in his first 4 games. The London derby is normally a feisty game but Arsenal are struggling against tough opposition and I expect the 3 points to be a formality for Chelsea, especially with Cahill and Hazard back providing stability in the squad. Arsenal have conceded 8 goals in their first 4 games, including 4 head goals. I'm sure Morata will be looking to further his hot streak with some more headers this weekend.📸 Alvaro Morata has netted three headed goals (and delivered two headed assists) in the #PL this season#LEICHE pic.twitter.com/eqIkt5q3Yt

Fixture Pick: Roberto Firmino vs Burnley(H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 19/20It was a disappointing week for Liverpool at the Etihad and they will be looking to bounce back. Roberto has an inviting home fixture against Burnley who are notoriously poor away from home, they've conceded 3 goals in their first 2 away games including 2 goals against 10-man Chelsea! Added to that, Heaton is out with a dislocated shoulder: Burnley conceded over 2 goals per game last season when their star goalkeeper was absent. Firmino has 2 goals and 2 assists already and should benefit from Mane's three match ban: there should be less rotation around the Champions League, particularly with Coutinho also back in contention. Firmino scored 5 goals and 2 assists when Mane was missing last season! Hopefully this pattern continues!Roberto Firmino for Liverpool in the Premier League since 2015/16. Punt “Birthday Boy 🎂” Pick: Salomón Rondón vs West Ham(H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 9/5West Brom have a promising home fixture against a leaky West Ham, who've already shipped 10 away goals! Salomón is celebrating his birthday on Saturday and attacking returns would be the icing on the cake! Hopefully history will repeat itself: he got a goal and an assist in this fixture last season, which also fell on his birthday weekend! Can he do it again?📷 What a weekend for @salorondon23!

Clueless Husband Pick : Christian Eriksen vs Burnley(H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 7/4My husband had a bit of a nightmare this week, I think he's realised that the showbiz gossip columns aren't the best source captaincy options! Wayne Rooney blanked and so this week Eriksen is the man in the frame. His reasoning is that Eriksen has “the best form” out of all of the players in his squad. I think Eriksen could be a strong choice this week, he has an excellent record against Swansea, with 6 goals and 3 assists in just 7 appearances. In addition, he has 1 goal and 3 assists in the Premier League this season, as well as 3 goal and 7 assists in total for club and country. Could this be the week to follow my clueless husband's advice? Until Next Week… Good Luck! Holly. Follow Holly for more FPL insight...
