Well, I had a DGW22 to forget. I failed to take my own advice, and wasted my triple captain chip on Harry Kane who was benched in the first game and then blanked in the second. Putting the armband on any other of my DGW options would have resulted in a much better result and green arrows. Only 3 DGW players made the dream team: Trippier, Son and Carroll which shows that two games doesn't always imply more points. I'm approaching Gameweek 23 with fond memories, as the fixtures are the reverse of Gameweek 4, which was my first captains article for FPLBet. I'm determined to include Manchester City assets this time around, despite coming up against Liverpool at Anfield. Here's the selections.Another day in #FPL Dream Team paradise... Shield Pick: Harry Kane vs Everton (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 4/7I must be a glutton for punishment! Despite the double gameweek disappointment, Kane is still firmly in my thoughts for this week: FPL is not a game to hold a grudge! Back in Gameweek 4, Kane had blanked in his last three games before visiting Goodison Park. This time around, it's a similar story. I ditched Kane in Gameweek 4 and he scored a brace, I'm not going to make the same mistake this time around. He is the Premier League top scorer and the leading forward in the game. He's on penalties for Spurs too. With Spurs out of the EFL Cup, Kane has had plenty of time to recover from that cold before this one. With Everton conceding 2 goals in each of their last 3 games, are you going for the shield pick this time around?Transferred In - 467,622 Captained - 1,326,710 Triple Captained - 121,521#DGW22 Points - 3 The struggle is real for Harry Kane's #FPL owners pic.twitter.com/xzCThODKWP

Sword Pick: Sergio Aguero vs Liverpool (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 17/20The forward slot has been confusing all season from a Manchester City perspective, but with Jesus out for the next few weeks, Aguero now emerges as a captaincy contender for the next few weeks. He got a goal and an assist in this fixture earlier in the season and he is on penalties for City. He has been in decent form in the Premier League, with 4 goals and an assist in his last 6 games. He got a brace in the FA Cup last weekend and a substitute last minute winner in the EFL Cup semi final first leg. His minutes look assured, does he get the armband?55 mins: Man City 0-1 Burnley 58 mins: Man City 2-1 Burnley The Sergio Aguero effect pic.twitter.com/QVkNuRODqy

Form Pick: Raheem Sterling vs Liverpool (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 8/5Raheem Sterling faces his old club this week and is in fantastic form ahead of this visit to Anfield. In his last 6 games, he has scored 5 goals and got 3 assists. Liverpool are boosted by having Van Dijk in defence, but their back line has proved to be less than secure in recent weeks: they conceded 3 goals to Arsenal a couple of weeks ago. If Pep rotates his side, Sterling could potentially play a false 9 role. Minutes are a slight concern, he played 90 minutes in the FA Cup and EFL Cup. Will you give the form pick the armband?Raheem Sterling marks his 18th goal of the season with a tribute to the injured @gabrieljesus33 #UCL pic.twitter.com/ohAi8WLhZE

Fixture Pick: Jesse Lingard vs Stoke (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 11/10Sterling may be the most in form midfielder over the festive period, but Lingard hasn't been far behind at all: he got 6 goals and an assist over this time. Stoke have been in really poor form recently and parted company with Mark Hughes this weekend: United will be looking to capitalise against the managerless Potters. Lingard scored in the FA Cup and since United are out of the EFL Cup, they have 10 days rest ahead of this one. Are you going to captain Jesse?Jesse Lingard's last 9 Gameweek starts: 7 goals 2 assists 7.7 points-per-match #FPL #EVEMUN pic.twitter.com/RIiev8mYeJ

Punt Pick: Pascal Groß vs West Brom (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 15/4Back in Gameweek 4, Pascal was the star man of the dream team: he got 2 goals and an assist at home to the Baggies. Now he has been out of form in recent weeks, but after a break in the schedule, he is favourable for this one. He likes to score against weaker opposition, with goals against Watford and Stoke as well this season. Will you take a gamble on the punt pick?Pascal Gross has been directly involved in nine #PL goals this season (four goals, five assists), four more than any other Brighton player pic.twitter.com/oxSLLFsr7s

Park the Bus Pick: Marcos Alonso vs Leicester (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 12/5 Clean Sheet Odds: 17/20After a steady start to the season, Alonso has grown to be FPL gold for the second season in a row. His form is absolutely fantastic, his lowest score in the last 6 games is 6. Over that time he has scored 3 goals, got 1 assist, 4 clean sheets and 6 bonus points. With Vardy injured and speculation over the future of Mahrez, Leicester may be lacking their usual threat going forwards. Alonso has a good record against the Foxes in the Premier League: 2 goals and 2 clean sheets in 3 appearances. Marcos is essentially playing as a midfielder, but steals clean sheet points off a very reliable defence. Are you brave enough to captain a defender?Marcos Alonso could finish the season as Chelsea's top goal scorer in the Premier League...

Clueless Husband Pick: Heung-Min Son* vs Everton (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 6/5I wasn't the only one to not follow my own advice in DGW22. Due to budget constraints, my Clueless Husband brought in Son over Eriksen and gave him the armband. I had to put up with him gloating over the two games that Son was getting him more points than Kane was for me. To make it even worse, he's showing off some more by leaving the armband on Son this time out. Son is certainly in good form, with 5 goals and 4 assists over the Christmas period. Will you side with my Husband this week? *His initial pick was Coutinho: apparently Coutinho's likely to get loads of points with Barcelona paying so much money for him. When I laughed at this suggestion, he remarked "So does he not play for Liverpool anymore? Surely he needs to see out his contract and work his notice?" Until Next Week… Good Luck! Holly.
