Gameweek 19 Captain Tips For Fantasy Premier League.

It's form vs fixture in this week's captain tips for Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 19. This week we compare popular midfielders Eden Hazard, Alexis Sanchez and Sadio Mane, weekend goalscorers Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the returning Diego Costa and Sergio Aguero. All statistics in this article, both player and team, are taken from the last four gameweeks.

Which player is in the best form?

# Player G A PPG
1 Ibrahimovic 4 3 10
2 Costa 3 1 7
3 Hazard 2 0 6.25
4 Lukaku 3 0 6
5 Mane 1 2 5.75
6 Sanchez 1 2 5
7 Aguero 3 0 4.75
After returning three consecutive double-figure hauls, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is beginning to establish himself as fantasy royalty. The Swede has hit four goals and three assists in his last four and leads our form table going into gameweek 18. Diego Costa is narrowly behind the United man in terms of form strikers. The Spaniard missed the last clash against Bournemouth but managed three goals in four games prior to his suspension and remains the league's top goalscorer. Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku both found the net against Bournemouth and Leicester respectively. Both had been in patchy form prior to the Boxing Day fixtures but looked sharp and are unlikely to be rotated over the next round of games. Sadio Mane and Alexis Sanchez have both been solid rather than spectacular other the last four matches. Both have scored and assisted two in that time, although the Liverpool man edges Sanchez out in terms of bonus points. Finally, we welcome back Sergio Aguero after a four-match ban. The Argentine has a decent average of 4.75 despite his red against Chelsea and will be rested and eager to make up for lost time.

Which player has the easiest fixture in Gameweek 19?

# Player Vs GC BCC
1 Sanchez CRY (H) 12 10
2 Lukaku HUL (A) 8 8
3 Costa STO (H) 8 2
= Hazard STO (H) 8 2
5 Mane MCY (H) 6 6
6 Ibrahimovic MID (H) 5 6
7 Aguero LIV (A) 4 2
Hosting Crystal Palace should be the easiest fixture on paper, although it is worth noting the Eagles recently replaced Alan Pardew with the more defensively-minded Sam Allardyce. While the ex-England manager was unable to shut out Watford's inconsistent attack, he will have had more time to drill his players. Sanchez may struggle against a compact side again like he did against West Brom. Romelu Lukaku takes on Hull who are just as bad at home as they are on their travels. The Tigers have averaged two goals conceded over their last four and have let in three goals in each of their last two games at the KCOM Stadium. Chelsea host Stoke who have let in seven goals in their last two games. Despite not conceding many big chances, the Potters seem unable to shut attackers out - something which will encourage Hazard and Costa owners. Meanwhile Mane faces a City side still finding their way defensively under Pep Guardiola, although a shutout away to Hull will offer encouragement. Ibrahimovic will face a stubborn Middlesbrough team as he looks to continue his fine form. Aitor Karanka's side don't let in many goals but have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last four away games, meaning if Ibrahimovic scores, bonus points are likely on the cards. Finally Aguero returns to the hardest fixture of the bunch. There is still hope for the Argentine however against a side who have averaged a goal a game in the last four.

Who is the best captain option for Gameweek 19?

[caption id="attachment_7053" align="alignleft" width="210"]gameweek 19 captain tips fpl Gameweek 19 Captain: Diego Costa[/caption] Last week's tip of Zlatan Ibrahimovic paid of handsomely as the Swede bagged a mega 30-point haul for those who captained him last weekend. While the temptation to hand him the armband again is high, Diego Costa's favourable fixture and consistency makes him our main tip for the weekend as he returns from suspension. Zlatan is still likely to score however, and therefore a solid option for those who don't own the Spaniard. For those who don't own either striker, Eden Hazard is a fall-back option. We'd rank him lower than both Costa and Ibra but a goal at Bournemouth and solid appearance should offer encouragement ahead of a potentially profitable clash against the Potters.

Fantasy Football Betting

As you're probably aware of, this season we teamed up with Bet4theBest to promote their fantasy football betting website. We chose to promote Bet4theBest, rather than the likes of DraftKing & FanDuel, because we felt that their game is more catered to our audience. The website is for fantasy football players, by fantasy football players. Unlike the aforementioned, they invest their money into improving their game rather than lucrative marketing campaigns. You won't find contests full of 25,000 players and you won't find the same player entering 1,000 teams to cover every possible outcome. Bet4theBest have recently updated their contest lobby so that it includes a wider variety of tournaments. You can now try their game for just £2.50, and if you place you could reinvest the money back into tournaments with a larger prizes. Give it a try this boxing day.
