Gameweek 14 was definitely up and down as rotation really hit managers in the midweek games: we did try and warn you! Other than Hazard, all of the picks highlighted returned. The Ox let my husband down so he's going back to familiar sources this week with the hope of a better result. Mo Salah gave many managers a fright when he was benched by Klopp, but he didn't need many minutes to score a brace! Here's this weeks tips, you'll notice there's no Lukaku for the first time ever as he goes through a barren spell.Top 5 #FPL captains Gameweek 14: Lukaku 5pts Kane 6pts Morata 1pt Salah 13pts Aguero 2pts Did you make the right choice? pic.twitter.com/28LpM0qf9h

Shield Pick: Mohammed Salah vs Brighton (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: EvensWow, Mo Salah is simply unstoppable. His ownership has exploded and he's now the highest owned player in the game. That's not surprising, since he's the Premier League top scorer with 12 goals, and the only FPL player to break the 100 point barrier. An ownership of above 50% means that he's eligible for the shield pick: almost everyone has him, so this is the main way you can capitalise on a strong performance from him. Now that he's had a rest (sort of), he's nailed on to start this week as Liverpool travel to Brighton. His form is phenomenal, he's returned in the last six games with 8 goals and 1 assist. Are you going to go for the obvious armband pick? There's a new leader in the FPL ownership table.... pic.twitter.com/Xf50J1troO

Sword Pick: Harry Kane vs Watford (A)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 8/11 Another player who's sure to start this week is Harry Kane. Hell be chasing goals in the month of December as he tries to beat Alan Shearer's record of the most Premier League goals scored in a calendar year, he's 5 off as things stand with 7 games to go. He's also been nominated for the ‘Sport's Personality of the Year' award in the UK and will want to give voters a reminder of what he's capable of. Watford showed their defensive frailty against Manchester United and Spurs need to bounce back after a poor run, with a loss against Leicester most recently. Harry has 2 in his last 2: will you give the armband to our shield pick?Form Pick: Kevin De Bruyne vs West Ham (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 13/10It's always debatable whether a City player can be given the armband, but KDB has started every game this season so should be least likely to be rotated (unless it's his turn this time!) Nobody can match Salah's form, but Kevin is the next in the list: surprisingly he's only got 1 assist in his last 4 matches but he has weighed in with 3 goals over that spell. Pep won't be happy that City have been leaving it late to close matches out and will want his team to give a strong performance against a West Ham side that managed to ship 4 goals away at Everton last time out. Are you going to give the armband to the second highest FPL points scorer?Kevin De Bruyne: Made more key passes vs Southampton (9) than any other player has managed in a Premier League match this season Full match stats ➡️ https://t.co/JpUWDAUa0x pic.twitter.com/N9tsBcxIAZ

Fixture Pick: Alvaro Morata vs Newcastle (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 4/7Newcastle are leaking goals at the moment and with Azpilicueta and Hazard rejoining the side, Morata's performance should be bolstered this week. Batshuayi is struggling with injury and so Morata should be a sure starter, unless Conte plays a false 9. There should be goals in this one for Chelsea, I wouldn't be surprised if he scores at least a brace this week! Will you go with the fixture pick?Alvaro Morata is the first Chelsea player to be directly involved in 10+ goals across all competitions this season: 7 goals 3 assists pic.twitter.com/hcwoX2jO29

Punt Pick: Wayne Rooney vs Huddersfield (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 6/4Wayne Rooney had a stormer in Gameweek 14, rolling back the years with a stunning hat trick against West Ham in the week. In contrast, Huddersfield had a shocker, conceding 5 at the Emirates. Now Rooney isn't going to put in a performance like that every week, but he's the Everton penalty taker and will be more enthusiastic now that Everton have got their managerial situation organised, with Big Sam coming in. Are you taking the punt?2272 days after his last-trick, Wayne Rooney has done it again! And scored from his own half! Report: https://t.co/HxdYySLxeV pic.twitter.com/owxICquvuE

Park the Bus Pick: Marcos Alonso vs Newcastle (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 14/5 Clean Sheet Odds: 11/20Chelsea have 4 clean sheets in their last 5 games and Alonso has scored in that period. Last seasons best defender has struggled to keep up with Azpilicueta this season, but I'm tipping him this week to perform. Conte does have the tendency to substitute him earlier, which could lock in the clean sheet sooner. He's always a threat from set pieces, do you fancy him to convert a free kick this week?Job done! Clueless Husband Pick: Jamie Vardy vs Burnley (H)
Anytime Goalscorer Odds: EvensMidweek gameweeks are the stuff of nightmares when you dislike football and you live with someone obsessed with FPL. The silver lining is that he's been able to binge on rubbish TV in another room, including "I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here!" Vardy's wife is on the program and he has good form in FPL, according to my Clueless Husband, so he's giving him the armband this week. With a goal and an assist in his last 2, he could be successful in this counter-attacking Leicester side. Do you think he will be successful in penetrating the Burnley defence this week?
