[fusion_builder_container hundred_percent="no" equal_height_columns="no" menu_anchor="" hide_on_mobile="small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility" FPL Holly is back this week with her selection of captain picks for Double Gameweek 35. After a dismal last weekend, the captaincy debate is flung wide open for this one and lots depends on the outcome of European games! The less said about Double Gameweek 34 the better, especially for the managers who went with Shane Duffy. 8 teams have a Double Gameweek in 35, including Manchester City, Manchester United, Spurs and Arsenal. It's been a busy time for the sides with European Quarter-Finals, so the biggest concern here is rotation. It's also the final opportunity to play the Triple Captain chip in a Double Gameweek to maximise returns.

Shield Pick: Sergio Aguero vs Tottenham (H) & Manchester United (A)

Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 4/5 Sergio Aguero is likely to be the most captained this week since he has the highest ownership in the game and a Double Gameweek. He leads the Golden Boot race, plus has a goal and two assists from his last four games. Rotation could be a concern here, but these are must win matches for Manchester City to clinch the Premier League title (keep an eye on his minutes midweek in the Champions League). Aguero is on penalties and delivered a goal in the Manchester derby earlier this season. Will you play safe with the shield pick?

Sword Pick: Raul Jimenez vs Brighton (H) & Arsenal (H)

Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 5/4 Jimenez has some attractive fixtures on paper, with a pair of home games. Brighton were woeful in defence last gameweek and Arsenal have just one clean sheet away from home this season: Jimenez loves to return against top six opposition, getting a goal in the reverse fixture. He has 2 goals and 3 assists from his last 3 starts and while the premium players have half an eye on cup games, Wolves only have league position to play for now. Are you going to go with the more attacking sword pick?

Form Pick: Christian Eriksen vs Manchester City (A) & Brighton (H)

Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 6/1 As rotation hits a fatigued Spurs, it's Eriksen who's most assured of minutes here. The away fixture is likely to be very tough, but a home game against Brighton could produce big points: Brighton are conceding 3 goals per game on average right now! Eriksen is likely to be on penalties in the absence of Kane alongside set piece responsibility and he has 1 goal and 3 assists from his last 4 games. Will you select the form pick despite the tough first fixture?

Fixture Pick: Raheem Sterling vs Tottenham (H) & Manchester United (A)

Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 10/11 Raheem Sterling has the highest points total of all Double Gameweek assets and will be crucial to Manchester City winning the title this season as their star player. He's in the mix for the Golden Boot, with 5 goals from his last 4 starts. Any rest or early substitution in the Champions League will look promising, although he looks to be undroppable right now with Manchester City needing to win all their remaining games to get the title. Are you going with the fixture pick?

Punt Pick: Mohammed Salah vs Cardiff (A)

Anytime Goalscorer Odds: 17/20 Managers learnt the hard way that single gameweek assets shouldn't be overlooked in a Double Gameweek last weekend, with leading points scorer and joint top goal scorer, Salah, being a prime example here. Rotation this late in the season seems inconceivable considering Liverpool's position in the league: Salah managed 15 points with a goal and 2 assists in the reverse fixture back in Gameweek 10. With 2 goals and 1 assist from his last 3 games, he's got the form to go with the fixture. Will you punt on a single gameweek captain for the double?

Park the Bus Pick: Ben Foster vs Huddersfield (A) & Southampton (H)

Clean Sheet Odds: 6/4 & 2/1 After the pain of captaining a defensive player last weekend, it's unlikely the โ€œPark the Busโ€ pick will be very popular this weekend! Foster has a great pair of fixtures, with a clean sheet against Huddersfield looking like a formality. Foster has 7 clean sheets this season, with one against the Terries in the reverse fixture too. Are you brave enough to captain a defender?

Clueless Husband Pick: Alexandre Lacazette vs Crystal Palace (H) & Wolves (A)

Anytime Goalscorer Odds: Evens Lacazette is trusted with the armband for this weekend, given his pair of excellent fixtures. Having been rested on Monday, he should see significant minutes here now and he has 1 goal and 3 assists from his last 4 starts. Will you side with my Clueless Husband? *all odds are based on the first fixture only as anytime goalscorer markets are unavailable for midweek ahead of the deadline Until Next Weekโ€ฆ Good Luck!
