Recent Form:
Player | G | A | PPG |
---|---|---|---|
Rondon | 3 | 1 | 7.00 |
Sigurdsson | 2 | 1 | 6.25 |
Lukaku | 3 | 1 | 5.75 |
G = Goals, A = Assists, PPG = Points per Game.
All three players have been in excellent form over the last four game weeks with both strikers scoring on three occasions and Sigurdsson scoring two in his last two. Despite finding the net in three of his last four, Lukaku has only picked up three bonus points compared to Rondon's five and Sigurdsson's four, therefore lowering his PPG. With little to separate the three based on form, let's take a look at their fixture difficulty ahead of Gameweek 31.Opposition Difficulty:
Player | Vs. | BCC | GC |
---|---|---|---|
Sigurdsson | AVL | 15 | 11 |
Lukaku | ARS | 9 | 8 |
Rondon | NOR | 3 | 4 |
Vs. = Opponents, BCC = Big Chances Conceded, GC = Goals Conceded.
Sigurdsson has this weekend's prize fixture as Swansea host Aston Villa at the Liberty Stadium. The Swans will be looking to move further away from the drop zone by taking all three points and bolstering their goal difference. The Villains look to have given up this season and are evidently struggling in both attack and defence. Over their last four matches they've conceded an average of 2.75 goals per game and now stand 9 points from safety. Only Villa, Newcastle and Crystal Palace have worse defensive form than Arsenal from their last four Premier League matches which comes as good news to Everton and Lukaku owners. The Gunners are without a win in their last three league games, whilst the Toffees boast the third best attack in the Premier League. The statistics indicate a couple of goals and no doubt an in-form Lukaku will claim at least one. The Canaries have tightened up at the back in recent weeks only letting in an average of one goal per game. However, Norwich have lost their last 13 on the road so their confidence will be at rock bottom.
