Welcome back to another Fantasy Premier League Captain Tips for Gameweek 22 article. This week
jamieFPL returns to highlight the best low, medium and high-risk candidates for your captain's armband.
Last gameweek was no doubt another disappointing one for most of our readers with the likes of Agüero, Costa, Kane, Ighalo, Özil and Mahrez all failing to return the points. As a result our medium and high risk selections turned out to the best options with Willian (5), Arnautovic (5) and Payet (11) all assisting, and the latter bagging a goal.
Gameweek 22 has a number of good candidates for the armband. Whilst we recommend you approach our high-risk candidates with caution on FPL, we believe they could be worth their weight in gold in daily fantasy football contests such as
FantasyBet.

Low Risk
Harry Kane Vs. SUN (H)
It's no surprise to see Harry Kane crop up as the bookies favourite to score this weekend, as Spurs welcome 'The Black Cats' to White Hart Lane.
Kane has failed to deliver in the last few weeks in close encounters against Everton and Leicester, but will be looking to return to goal scoring form against the league's leakiest defence.
Sunderland's defensive form has been worrying this season and they've only managed to keep two clean sheets throughout the entire campaign. Despite playing well in recent weeks, overcoming Spurs will be a hard task and keeping a clean sheet an even harder one.
Sergio Agüero Vs. CRY (H)
Two goals in one week across all competitions and the injury rumour to Jamie Vardy saw a lot of manager's draft in Sergio Agüero for Gameweek 21, but unfortunately to no avail.
Despite failing to break the deadlock against Everton, he looked dangerous in the final third and produced three shots, two of which were on target.
This week City host a Crystal Palace side that have performed inconsistently over the last six weeks (WWDDLL) and are without a win in their last four matches.
Medium Risk
Dimitri Payet Vs. NEW (A)
Out of all of our six tips from Gameweek 21, Dimitri Payet has to be our favourite. Last week we selected him as a high-risk candidate on his return and he rewarded us with 11 points.
During his 77 minutes on the pitch against Bournemouth he created three chances, scored a fantastic free kick and assisted Valencia. With ownership set to dramatically rise, now is the time to back him as captain.
His opposition Newcastle have failed to win in their last five Premier League matches and this week have the job of containing a West Ham side who have won their last three on the bounce.
Odion Ighalo Vs. SWA (A)
The Watford striker has now gone two Premier League matches without a goal having scored in six consecutive matches before that.
With the Hornets slipping down the table, they'll be relishing the opportunity to travel and face a Swansea side that have conceded an average of two goals per game in their last three.
Ighalo needs to start firing again if Watford want to stay in the top half and this is set to be the perfect fixture. If you fancy differentiating from the obvious Kane & Agüero, then here's your man.
High Risk
Wayne Rooney Vs. LIV (A)
Wayne Rooney has got off to a flyer in 2016, with 4 goals, 2 Man of the Match awards and an assist over a 10 day period.
He now stands level (175 goals for Man Utd) with Thierry Henry (175 goals for Arsenal) for the most goals scored for a single club in Premier League history and faces an injury-hit Liverpool backline who have conceded 5 goals over their last couple of matches.
This is an opportunity for him to knock an Arsenal legend down a peg, while finding the net in 4 successive matches, for the first time since March 2012 - Rooney will be fired up alright.
Jamie Vardy Vs. AVL (A)
Transfer out, get banged! Or that's at least what those of you who opted to bench the league's top goalscorer rather than ship him out are hoping for as he faces foot of the table, Aston Villa.
Despite his low recent points per game average of just 2.0, it's hard to deny the potential of a striker who broke the Premier League record for most consecutive goals earlier in the season.
Aston Villa managed a rare win over Palace on Tuesday and will be looking to build on this if they want to avoid relegation. Having conceded five goals in three, the scene is set for Vardy to flourish.
