Captain Tips For Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 11.

It's form vs fixture vs odds in this week's captain tips for Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 11. This week we compare in-form midfielders Eden Hazard, Phillippe Coutinho and Alexis Sanchez as well as lethal strikers Romelu Lukaku, Diego Costa, Sergio Aguero and Charlie Austin.

Which player is in the best form?

# Player PPG Goals Assists
1 Lukaku 8.75 3 2
= Hazard 8.75 3 1
3 Costa 7.5 3 1
4 Sanchez 6 2 1
5 Coutinho 5.75 1 2
6 Austin 4.75 2 0
7 Aguero 4.5 2 1
Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard are leading the form book at the moment. The Everton man is the only player to have delivered attacking returns in each of his last four games and managed a goal and assist to earn a 24-point haul for those who captained him. Hazard scored for the third game in a row against Southampton to highlight himself as one of the premium midfield options. Diego Costa also found the net against the Saints to give both players three goals and an assist in the four matches since Antonio Conte changed system. Alexis Sanchez delivered a brace and 13-point haul to put himself at the top of the FPL scorers chart while Phillippe Coutinho looks to have established himself as Liverpool's best option after delivering returns in four of his last six games. Charlie Austin failed to score in his last game against a stubborn Chelsea defence but still has two in his last four. Finally, Sergio Aguero put a goalless streak and penalty miss behind him to score two, assist one and deliver a mega 16-point score against West Brom.

Which player has the easiest fixture in Gameweek 11?

# Player Vs Goals Conceded Big Chances Conceded
1 Austin HUL (A) 11 7
2 Hazard EVE (H) 4 6
= Costa EVE (H) 4 6
4 Sanchez TOT (H) 2 4
= Coutinho WAT (H) 2 4
= Aguero MID (H) 2 4
7 Lukaku CHE (A) 0 0
Charlie Austin's place on this list was secured mainly because Southampton have the best fixture of anybody. Hull are in free-fall having lost each of their last six. They've conceded the most goals over the last four along with seven big chances. Antonio Conte's men both face up to an Everton side that is uncharacteristically leaky for one of Ronald Koeman's defences. The Toffees have let six big chances go in recent times - although they did manage a clean sheet after Ramiro Funes-Mori was brought in for Phil Jagielka against West Ham. There is a bit of an odd trend this week with Sanchez, Coutinho and Aguero each facing statistically equal defences. Tottenham, Watford and Middlesbrough have each conceded two and let four big chances go, with the latter even managing to shut out free-scoring Arsenal a fortnight ago. Finally Romelu Lukaku faces up to a Chelsea side that have astonishingly given nothing away since the change to 3-4-3. Having faced United and Southampton and Leicester in those times, that is no mean feat and Lukaku may struggle to find a way through.

Who is the bookies favourite to score in Gameweek 11?

# Player Odds To Score Implied Chance
1 Aguero 1/2 66.67%
2 Costa 10/11 52.38%
3 Austin 11/8 42.11%
= Coutinho 11/8 42.11%
5 Hazard 6/4 40.00%
6 Sanchez 13/8 38.10%
7 Lukaku 9/4 30.77%
After returning to scoring form against West Brom last weekend, the bookies are backing Sergio Aguero to find the back of the net against Middlesbrough with a 67% implied chance. As a result of his goalscoring form of late Costa has been given a 52.38% chance of finding the net against Everton. Eden Hazard has been given a 40% in the same fixture but arguably has a greater potential for assists. Austin and Coutinho are both tied at a 42.11% chance. This is a surprise given the Southampton man will start up front against the league's worst defence, but perhaps highlights the Brazilian's threat from range. It's difficult to say whether Sanchez's odds of 38.1% are because the bookies are unsure if Toby Alderweireld will return for Spurs - if he doesn't the Chilean's chances of a goal will surely improve. Chelsea's recent defensive form seems to be enough to put them off Lukaku however, who comes in at only a 30.77% chance.

Who is the best captaincy option for Gameweek 11?

# Player Form Fixture Odds Total
1 Costa 3 2 2 7
2 Hazard 2 2 5 9
3 Austin 6 1 3 10
4 Coutinho 5 4 3 12
= Aguero 7 4 1 12
6 Sanchez 4 4 6 14
7 Lukaku 1 7 7 15
According to form, the fixtures and bookmaker's odds, it appears backing your Chelsea options is the way to go this week. Costa is rated as the slightly better option due to his consistent returns but Eden Hazard could prove just as profitable. Charlie Austin's trip to Hull sees him take third in the rankings. There won't be too many captaining him above the likes of Costa, Hazard or Aguero but he should find the net if Hull's woes continue. Despite being the best option on paper, Sergio Aguero ranks in the middle. This is in part due to his poor form prior to last week and also as Middlesbrough have got back-to-back clean sheets - the Argentine is nonetheless a tempting option and ties with Coutinho. Despite their hauls last week, neither Sanchez or Lukaku seem worthy of consideration. Spurs and Chelsea have the first and third best defences respectively and there are far better options for this week.
