Managerless Inter Milan travel to Saint Mary's without a win in their last four away matches including last weekend's disappointing 1-0 loss to Sampdoria. Since their win over Southampton last month, Inter have only managed to win two of their last eight matches in all competitions.Southampton have seen their form dip recently and failed to show the cutting edge against ‘big teams' with a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea last weekend and draws to Spurs and Man City. The Saints are, however, unbeaten in their last six European home games.
Match Prediction:
Inter Milan took all three points with a narrow 1-0 win when the two sides met last month, despite Southampton having the majority of possession, shots and chances. Another Inter win could send Southampton to bottom of Group K, whereas a win could set them top with just two games to go. There have been less than 2.5 goals scored in five of Southampton's last six Europa League matches and with both teams needing points, this match is set to be close encounter with very little to separate the two sides. Inter Milan's poor form on the road could be the decisive factor.
