Despite their poor recent form, Mainz M05 have not lost any of their last five Bundesliga games against sides currently in the bottom third of the table, earning an impressive 13 points from a possible 15 (W4, D1). This puts them in good stead as they face a Hamburger side who have won just once on the road all season and currently occupy a relegation spot. Games at the Opel Arena have featured 28 goals this term - more than at any other Bundesliga stadium in 2016/17 and with a Hamburger player sent off in four of their last eight league games, a feisty affair with a flurry of goals is to be expected. Markus Gisdol has named the same starting XI for the last four games - the last time this happened was in 2004 under Thomas Doll.
