Bundesliga newcomers RB Leipzig head to BayArena this Friday with hopes of maintaining their astonishing start to life in the top flight of Germany. The Red Bull-owned side is currently on a five match win streak and as a result sit level on points with league leaders Bayern Munich. Striker Timo Werner leads the team with five goals thus far, but with the entire squad chipping in goals and assists, the young forward hasn't had the burden of carrying the team's attack. Bayer Leverkusen, on the other hand, have gotten off to a bit of a rocky start in the Bundesliga. Their attack hasn't been able to produce an end product as consistently as it had in their previous campaign, and defensive issues have made it much more difficult to shut their opponents out of a game. Bayer has won its last two league matches, but they were both narrow victories over the struggling Wolfsburg and Darmstadt.Match Prediction:
The bookies have Bayer as the favourites for this, which makes a Leipzig side in blazing form a fantastic option to place a bet on. Leipzig are undefeated in the league, and even though they find themselves on the road this week, that shouldn't discourage you. In their past two away matches they managed to claim clean sheets against Wolfsburg and Darmstadt, the same two teams that Bayer have just struggled to beat.
