Power Rankings - Gameweek 15 - Fantasy Premier League Tips

Share post on:

Welcome to our latest instalment of the Player Power Rankings ahead of Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 15.

The Power Rankings have been designed to help fantasy football managers visualise the form of players in each position. Using these rankings it's easy to monitor which players are gaining and losing form. The rankings are calculated using data from the last FOUR gameweeks. Players are ranked in order of form (total points) and then compared to the previous gameweek's table to show their change in rank (rank diff) and form (form diff).

Goalkeeper Power Rankings:

goalkeeper power rankings Lee Grant (£4.2m) edges his way to the top of the goalkeeper rankings with a clean sheet in Stoke's 2-0 victory over Burnley. Grant is currently the most in-form keeper in the league with two clean successive sheets, averaging 4.75 points per game Petr Cech (£5.5m), David de Gea (£5.4m) and Claudio Bravo (£5.4m) all miss out on making the top ten after all failing to keep a clean sheet in their last four matches. With clean sheets few and far between this season, it seems logical to rotate two budget goalkeepers or have Thibaut Courtois (£5.6m) as a set and forget.

Defender Power Rankings:

defender power rankings Marcos Alonso (£6.2m) maintains his spot at the top of the leaderboard for the second week running, despite failing to keep a clean sheet against Man City. The wing-back still managed six points after recording his second assist of the season. Ahead of Gameweek 15 we welcome six new to players to the defender rankings. James Tomkins (£5.0m) & Nathan Ake (£4.3m) both broke into the top five having scored twice in their last four matches. Chris Brunt (£4.9m) was this week's highest riser after returning a whopping 14 points last time out. He's currently playing out of position as part of West Brom's attacking midfield trio and against Watford he picked up a goal, assist and three bonus points.

Midfielder Power Rankings:

midfielder power rankings Matt Phillips (£5.4m) has managed to snatch the top spot from Eden Hazard after a string of good performances over the last month. The Baggies winger has averaged a whopping 10.25 points per game from his last four. There's no surprise to see Alexis Sanchez (£11.6m) narrowly miss out on the top spot after scoring five goals in his last two matches. His hat-trick against West Ham has led to almost 250 thousand managers already transferring him in for Gameweek 15. Christian Eriksen (£8.3m) has finally found his purple patch, after his underlying statistics suggested he was ‘due a goal' from the opening 13 weeks. The Spurs midfielder has managed three goals in two matches and has favourable home matches to Hull & Burnley on the horizon.

Forward Power Rankings:

forward power rankings Harry Kane (£11.1m) shoots to top of the table after scoring five goals in four matches. Last week's brace combined with Aguero's suspensions has seen his ownership sky rocket and value start to increase. Diego Costa (£10.8m), also known as Mr Consistent, has continued banging in a goal per game as usual. The Chelsea forward has also turned provider on three occasions over the last four weeks, raking in the points with three assists. This week's biggest riser (along with Harry Kane) is Crystal Palace target man, Christian Benteke (£7.6m) who has managed three goals and an assist over the last month. His season record is now 7 goals from 12 matches, which is impressive considering his value.
