Sheffield United vs Liverpool
Chris Wilder masterminded a win over Everton last Saturday and this week he will be looking for a Merseyside double, as league leaders Liverpool not only make the trip to Bramall Lane but also with their one hundred percent record intact.
Jurgen Klopp's men got the better of Chelsea last Sunday and they know that a win over Sheffield United, will see them even temporarily extend their advantage at the top of the table to eight points.
Prediction: Sheffield United 0-2 Liverpool
Tottenham vs Southampton
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will no doubt be aggrieved that a VAR decision went against his side for a change and although that was not the sole reason for defeat against Leicester, it was certainly the turning point in the game.
He goes up against his former employers on Saturday, as Southampton make the visit to North London and they come here off the back of a 3-1 home defeat to local rivals Bournemouth.
Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Southampton
Wolves vs Watord
Wolves and Watford are still searching for their first Premier League wins of the season and it is fair to say that they had far differing fortunes last weekend. For the former it was snatching a late draw away at Crystal Palace, while only having ten men on the pitch.
While for the latter it was another mauling at the hands of Manchester City, as they shipped a staggering eight goals at the Etihad. Hopefully it won't be that many this Saturday.
Prediction: Wolves 1-0 Watford
Aston Villa vs Burnley
Aston Villa were minutes away from earning a very creditable result at the Emirates last Sunday, but defensive naivety was the undoing for Dean Smith's men and they subsequently came away from North London empty handed.
This Saturday sees them play host to a Burnley side who got the better of Norwich last Saturday and once again Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes will be charged with scoring the Clarets' goals.
Prediction: Aston Villa 1-1 Burnley
Bournemouth vs West Ham
The fact that these two sides find themselves in the top six is something of a surprise but at the same time it is testament to the solid starts that both Bournemouth and West Ham have had thus far.
The Cherries got the better of Southampton last Friday and the Hammers came out on top against Manchester United, this has the hallmarks of an entertaining clash on the South Coast.
Prediction: Bournemouth 2-2 West Ham
Chelsea vs Brighton
Frank Lampard will be another manager who bemoans the rigidness of VAR in the past week and had Cesar Azpilicueta's goal stood against Liverpool, the outcome could have been a lot different to the one that is now in the record books.
This weekend the Blues will have the opportunity to take their frustration out on a Brighton side, who are still yet to win since the opening weekend but have drawn their last two outings.
Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 Brighton
Crystal Palace vs Norwich
Crystal Palace were seconds away from picking up maximum points against Wolves, only for the Eagles to then have their wings clipped by Diogo Jota's late leveller and this weekend they are once again at home while preparing for the visit of Norwich.
The Canaries were bought back down to Earth after their incredible win over Manchester City the previous week and they will look to put the away defeat to Burnley behind him on Saturday.
Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Norwich
Everton vs Manchester City
Everton have lost three of their last four league outings and with the Toffees dreaming of a top six finish at the end of the season, it is already looking like an uphill struggle for Marco Silva and his players.
A struggle that could only prove to be more difficult this weekend, as they play host to a Manchester City side that put 8 (EIGHT one for you vidiprinter fans) past a hapless Watford last Saturday.
Prediction: Everton 1-3 Manchester City
Leicester vs Newcastle
Only one Sunday offering this weekend and perhaps not as super as the billing it will be given. That said, Leicester are looking good this season and if their performances continue in their current vein, they will be a very decent shout for a top six finish.
They play host to a Newcastle side that are lacking goals this season, although in fairness their lack of attacking endeavour comes as no real surprise either.
Prediction: Leicester 2-0 Newcastle
Manchester United vs Arsenal
Could this be a game that is already pivotal in terms of Manchester United's and Arsenal's top four or six ambitions, could it even be a game that is pivotal in terms of the employment prospects of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer?
United were lacklustre in defeat to West Ham last Sunday and will have to perform a lot better against a Gunners side that came from behind twice to get the better of Aston Villa that same day.
Prediction: Manchester United 1-2 Arsenal
